Tough..Love

TWO MORE DAYS….

It was a bright day with the sun out and a bit of breeze blowing here and there. Walking into school with the boys we met up with Mekaela and Tyrick. Meyah walked towards us from her car, mostly looking at Beau. Sometimes I wonder if she was using me to get to Beau. I just wasn’t sure. I looked back at him and saw him looking her up and down. Probably mentally stripping her clothes off, knowing Beau. When ever he has that look in his eyes, it just wasn’t hard to miss.
I felt a bit guilty for not inviting them over last night but then again I thought I made the right decision. If they had seen what my brothers and Aidens brother had gotten into they probably would have been out the door the next second spreading rumors about us. These days you just have to know the right people, trust the right people. So far the only person I could trust was Mekaela.

"Good morning good morning everybody" said Tyrick. He gave me a high five along with Mekaela and Meyah. He looked at the boys unsure if he was aloud to give them one as well. Beau put out his hand motioning for Tyrick to give him a high five.
"Hey I won’t bite" winked Beau. I gave him a warning look and he laughed. "Just forget about it mate"
Two really flash cars drove past us and they looked really new. One was a black Mercedes the other a mustang. The folks that owns it are probably mega rich. Not long after Tyrone drove into the school grounds, along with his family behind him. They all seem to own their own vehicles. His parents must be rich aswell, too rich. I kept my eyes on him as he got out of the car and started walking my way.
Bow huffed. "Ain’t lover boy looking flash today."

I didn’t care what my brothers were thinking, all I wanted was to keep looking into Tyrones eyes. They still had the same color, that golden color outlining his eyeball.
"Hey Jess!" I saw Tyrone’s body stiffen as his eyes drifted behind me. He looked at me one more time then turned away.
"Hey Jess" said Aiden. I turned around shockingly and stared at him. "Do you know him?" gesturing towards Trevor.
"Yeah, well maybe just a little bit. We met at the beach on Saturday" I explained.
He nodded his head stiffly. I wonder what his problem was. "Do you know him?" I asked. He looked at me scratching his head.
"I use to know him. We use to be pretty close"
I looked at him shockingly, "You’re kidding me right?"
"Um…….no. Not really."
"What happen to you guys?"

"We just stopped being friends I guess. Look once you’re going to phase I will tell you everything you need to know about him. The mean time can you show me around?"
"Okay then. But cant you just tell me now?" I pleaded.
He laughed. "Well maybe sometime soon yeah."
I rolled my eyes at him. "Yeah what ever boy. Come on bells gone. Let these love birds carry on with what ever they are doing" I gestured towards the boys and Mekaela with Meyah. None of them seemed like they have heard the bell. Oh well who cares it wont be my fault if they come in late to their classes.
Looking at Mekaela still curious about her phasing and wanting to know if she was telling the truth or not I pulled her away from the others. She looked at me shockingly.
"Hey what did I do?" she said.
"About last night when we were discussing everybody having their abilities, I was just wondering if you could prove yours you know" keeping my voice down.
She looked at me then smiled. "Sure"

She put her hand on my shoulder and suddenly I felt a shock shot through my shoulder and down my arm. I jumped at the pain. I looked at Mekaela shockingly. At least now I know she wasn’t lying about her abilities.
"That’s ain’t all of it. Now I can control it better you know. The sparks that go through my body use to be so painful whenever I touch someone. I have tried to keep it a secret though, but it just seems so hard. The first time I had them I couldn’t keep them in me. My family knows nothing of this"
Aiden and I were listening to her now. She kept her eyes on the ground not looking up, not even once. She looked like she had committed a crime or something, trying to look innocent and everything. "at least now I know how to control it. That shock that just went through your body just then, that was nothing. In fact I can use upto 25,000 voltage of power. It can kill upto ten people in just 5 seconds."
I looked at her, shocked. Aiden beside me hasn’t said a word. I wasn’t sure if he was still breathing or what. I looked from her to Aiden, then back again to her.
"Wow" Aiden and I said together.
We all kept our voices down just incase Meyah and Tyrick - Oh my gosh I have totally forgotten about him. I look over at him. He and Meyah both look so small compared to my big huge brothers.

"Oh hold on. I want you to meet someone Aiden."
I run over to where Tyrick and the rest of them were. As soon as he saw me he smiled. "Come on I want you to meet one of my mates I met yesterday. He is totally cool" I said, dragging him over to Mekaela and Aiden. "So Aiden this is Tyrick, Tyrick this is Aiden. He was actually the first one that ad the guts to introduce himself after that fight I had with Christina the brat."
Tyrick and Mekaela laughed.
"Sup" they said together, shaking each others hands.
"You been in town long?" asks Tyrick.
"Nah aye. Just got here like on Friday"
"Oh true"
"Look okay guys" I said cutting into their conversation. "Hate to break it to you but the bells gone and we ought to be late to class. Say Aiden, do you know what you got next"
"I’m not sure. I have to go into the main office and get my timetable"
"Oh true….I’ll take you there" I offered. His smiled at me.
"Thanks."

I looked at Mekaela and Tyrick. "Yeah well…. Guys I might need a hand you know. I haven’t really been into the main office. A little help would be nice"
They both laughed. "Sure I’ll help you. Besides Mekaela looks like she would rather be with dream boy over there instead" said Tyrick, pointing over to where Decklan was.
"So true" laughed Aiden.
"Okay no time to waste. Lets get going I don’t want to get into trouble from Mr. Fisher again. That was just so not cool" I said.
All three of us started off with a jog into school. I looked back and saw the boys still with Mekaela and Meyah chatting. Tye saw us running and started off towards us. "Hurry up you guys you’re going to be late" I called out to Decklan and the rest of them. They all looked at me and started walking towards school. Finally they come to their senses.
All three of us entred the main office. The lady there looked like she was in her late forties. She looked up from her paper work and greeted us.

All three of us compared each others time tables. We all had literacy together. Most of my classes were with Aiden. I guess it was going to be fun having him around most of the time.
"Ahh. I believe you two have an explanation to why you were late again coming into my class, and disturbing it might I add" said Mr. Fisher. He looked from me then to Tyrick. He didn’t seem to notice Aiden standing behind us. I could hear the class mumbling, mostly about Aiden. I noticed Christina in the corner eying Aiden.
Ugh. She is totally killing my buzz.
You’re just jealous that’s why. You cant handle it when some other girl as pretty as her might actually like Aiden.
I shook my head. I wasn’t sure why but I was sure I was hearing things.
Oh no honey, you ain’t hearing things. I’m as real as you are.
"Right Jess?"
I snapped back into reality. "Huh?"
"About Aiden…. We were helping him out with his timetable right?" said Tyrick.
I looked at him then at Mr. Fisher. "Yes sir. Aiden here needed our help. We were just helping out."
"Yeah Mr um Fisher they were just helping out. I got lost in the area and they helped out" explained Aiden.
Mr. Fisher looked from me then to Tyrick and over at Aiden. "One more and you’re out of this class"
"Yes sir" we said together.
I could feel Christina’s eyes on my back as we all went to the back of the class finding a table for us to sit on.
