Hey guys..now I see why some of you guys are so confused with the characters…most of their names begin with Ty hahahaha…well I’m sorry about that… I hope this helps..

Tye = Tylor (Jess’s brother)
Tyrone = Tyrone (The guy that Jess is interested in)
Tyrick = Tyrick (The guy that introduced himself after Jess got into that fight with Christina)

I now see why so many of you guys are confused…happy reading !!!

THE COUNTDOWN

Aiden and I met up with the boys in the cafeteria. His sister Aria had taken a seat next to Tye, which was also MY seat.
See you’re jealous…again. Can’t you see your brother is happy? said the little voice in my head.
"Shut up" I said.
Aiden looked at me with his hands up. "Hey what did I do?"
I looked at him then laughed. "Nothing. Just thinking that’s all"
"Thinking? You’re not going crazy are you?" laughed Aiden.
I punched him playfully on the shoulder. "Whatever."
Tye and Aria, Beau and Bow, Decklan, Me, Aiden, and Mekaela were all sitting in a circle taking up most of the area. Everyone seemed to be happy and having their own conversations. On the other side Tyrick and Meyah and the rest of his gang were all in a circle deep in conversation. Every now and then I’ll find Meyah look over at us. Sometimes Cory looks over at us, he even gave me a wink when I caught him staring at me. I looked around again looking for Tyrone. I couldn’t find him anywhere.
Just admit it. You like him. Maybe I am going crazy, who knows.

"Aiden"
"Yeah?"
"So why ain’t you and Tyrone mates anymore? What happen to you guys?" I asked.
He hesitated for a second. "It’s a long story"
"Hey I got time"
"I’m not sure why but all the stories I have been hearing about them is just so….odd to our kind. They aren’t anything like us or the humans" he said. "Our kind goes way back, though I’m not sure how our kind started -"
"What has this got to do with Tyrone?" I interrupted.
Aiden rolled his eyes. "Let me finish will yah."
"Fine then. You were saying?"
"As I was saying you can find this really hard to believe. After the war between those leechers and immortal beings, our kind started to die out. I have to say though they put up a heck of a fight. Well at least that’s what the legend says. Those leechers killed every single member of the royal family" he said in disgust.
I took in his words more carefully this time. "I still don’t get what this - "
"You didn’t listen did you?"

I looked at him then shook my head. "Uh no my dear, if you haven’t noticed but I’m a bit slow this morning."
He shook his head then rolled his eyes. " Oh trust me, I have noticed."
I rolled my eyes. " Okay all this talk is making my head hurt, time to eat"
"I agree"
"What are you two love birds talking about?" asked Bow.
I looked at Aiden and saw him blush. I laughed at him, he looked so cute.
"Nothing that concerns you yah jealous mutt!" I told him, then threw an apple at his face. It almost hit him.
"Heeeeeeey! Watch the face will yah. This" he said moving his hand in front of his face, "is what them dear beautiful young ladies go for. Mhmmm" he said, then winks.
We all laughed at his joke. Across the room where Tyrone usually sits was no where to be found. What ever was going on between him and Aiden must be serious. Thinking earlier on to the story Aiden was trying to tell me, I still couldn’t understand any of it. It was just all so confusing. Leechers? Is that what they call it these days, I guess it sounds way better than vampires.

Immortal beings, which are us, were in a war with vampires? Wow, I wonder who won.
Did you not hear a word that boy was saying? Those leechers killed every single member of the leaders to your kind. Ugh, such digusting creatures.
"Can you hear that?" I asked Aiden.
"No, oh please tell me you ain’t going crazy. Please please please tell me" he begged, then laughed. I punched him playfully on the shoulder then rolled my eyes.
"Psssssh, you wish little man. If I am going crazy you wouldn’t be here talking with me"
"Yeah yeah."
"I feel bad for not inviting Tyrick and Mekaela over, should I?" I asked Aiden.
"Um……I don’t really know aye. It’s up to you I guess, I have no say in this."
I looked over at Tyrick and Meyah, every now and then I’ll see them look over at us.
"Maybe I should call them over"
"Up to you…. I guess"
"Somethings up with you, honestly if you don’t want them here I wont call them to come over"

"Um….okay then. Call them over. It’s just that um well, the way that guy Tyrick looks at me its just argh"
I laughed. "What are you talking about? There’s nothing wrong with him yah dork. Maybe there’s something on your face that he’s staring at"
It was his turn to punch me playfully on the shoulder. "Honestly it’s the way he looks at me. Not cool man, not cool"
I laughed. "You telling me that you think that Tyrick might be gay?"
"Well…… yeah at least that’s what I think. Come on you haven’t seen the way that guy looks at me sometimes"
"Well I wouldn’t blame him anyway, you are kinda sexy" I joked. Again he blushed, oh this boy is so easy.
Maybe there's something going on between the two of you. Yeah right.
"Ha-ha thanks a lot Ms Know It All"

"Okay then, if you don’t mind but I am going to invite him and her over to join us. Well not that there’s any more room for two more people but hey, who cares"
"Are you sure? I mean just look at the size of these tables. It cant even fit the whole lot of us."
"Yeah yeah no excuses Mr. Come on lets go over to their table."
We both got up and went to over to Tyrick and his group.
"Hello everybody, remember me?" I asked Tyrick and his group. They all looked at me then laughed.
"Well duh, honey at this school you’re famous" said Cory.
"Uhuh got that right bro. look Queen Bee is on her way now. It’s time for action" said Reid.
I turned around and saw Christina with one of her pom-pom friends walking over to where we were standing. She looked at me and gave me a smile.
Don’t fall for it girl, it’s a trick and you know it.

"Well hello there sexy, I don’t think we’ve met" cooed Christina. She was flirting with Aiden, flirting with him right in front of me.
I told you you’re jealous. Oh shut up.
"Hi and no I don’t think we have" said Aiden. He didn’t look bothered at all that Christina was flirting with him. Her pom-pom friend behind her kept looking Aiden up and down, the way Beau would look at a girl. I shivered.
"Well I’m glad we have though. I have no idea how a girl like her" she said looking over at me, "can score a sexy thing like you"
I heard Aiden stifle a chuckle. "What? Oh you mean Jess? Well no actually, it’s just me, myself and I. Just the way I like it"
"My oh my. He’s sexy, charming and bulky. Yummy"
I watched her as she put her hands on Aiden’s chest. Everyone in the are were looking at them.

"Mhmmmm" said the girl next to her.
I could hear Tyrick and his group whispering to each other something I couldn’t quite hear. Beau and the guys on their table were looking at us now, probably waiting for another fight to happen. Too bad, there would be no fight going on today, or ever.
"Thanks I guess. I’ll take that as a compliment honey" said Aiden, then winked at her. He seemed oblivious that Christina was flirting with him.
"Well I have this party going on Friday night, come along and I’ll show you how we Avondal students have fun." She winked at Aiden then turned around to walk off. Looked over her shoulder. "Oh and no tag alongs" she said, then looked at me.
"Not interested" I said.
"Friday night? Oooooh, well sorry but I got plans with my mate" said Aiden.
"Well then bring them along" said Christina.
"Didn’t you say ‘no tag alongs?’" said Aiden.
Christina shrugged. "How many are there?"
"Mmmm well lets see. There’s Tye, Beau, Bow, Deck, Mekaela, Myself and Jess. There's seven of us."

Her pom-pom friend whispered into Christina’s ear. "Well obviously you have too many friends. Bring them along, I would love to meet them"
I looked at her. "Why don’t you meet my fist instead you dumb blonde"
She looked at me then laughed. "Why Jessica Brown, you can come along if you want, but you see my friends" she said then pointed over to her group of friends, "well I don’t think they would approve of you coming along."
I laughed. "Charming. I wouldn’t mind introducing them to my fist as well."
She glared at me. "You wouldn’t dare do that."
"I’ve done it before have I not? And I will most certainly do it again, honey"
"So are you coming to the party or not?" said Christina frustrated. I laughed when she glared at me.
"Nah I’m good. Not interested in partying" said Aiden, then shrugged.
"You’re blowing me off?"
"I guess so"

"Oh you are so going to regret you even met me" said Christina angrily.
"I think I already have. Nice meeting you"
She glared at me then walked off. I was laughing so hard tears were swelling up in my eyes.
"Why-did-you-do-that?" I said in between laughs.
"Like I said, ‘I am not interested in partying’" he said then shrugged again.
I punched him lightly on the shoulder. "You just blew off Queen Bee Mr. You should be ashamed of yourself" I said, then giggled.
"I am so sure that not even the Queen herself would throw herself at me like that. Not cool man, not cool"
I turned around to see Tyrick and Meyah red in the faces from laughing too much. The rest of the gang were trying to keep in their laughter.
"I guess we got ourselves the next new Ms Jessica Brown" laughed Tyrick. We all laughed at him.
