Total surveillance solution for Krakow's residential community

ACTi provides the total surveillance solution for Krakow's residential community. The security system includes access control, and video surveillance. Since the community is very big with far distances between every installation sites, it is difficult to install traditional analog camera with coaxial cables. Therefore, the community decides to use IP solution as the security surveillance systems in this community.

Dipol - the main distributor of ACTi products in East and Central Europe - and the polish system integrator (Telcom) provide ACTi’s Unify solution to finish the project (installation), which means ACTi’s hardware with ACTi’s NVR (Networking Video Recorder). The project is done with ACTi D&N IP Box camera (CAM-5321) with ACTi free NVR software. The cameras are located in some critical points (The cross road & the boarder of the community) to ensure the safety of the resident. There are 2 dedicated guard posts which control the car entering and watch over the video from the IP camera for the 24 hours surveillance monitoring.

Telcom (The system integrator) indicate that: "Since ACTi provides the unify solution, it is very easy for us to integrate the cameras & software under ACTi’s & it’s supports. Also, since the software is free, the community saves money for installation and can use the budget for other constructions".
