Tori Spelling’s Baby News
Actress Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott welcomed their first child, a boy, on Tuesday.

The baby was named Liam Aaron McDermott and weighed in at 6 pounds 6 ounces. He was born in Los Angeles at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. It was just reported earlier this week that Spelling and her mother Candy were reconciling after an estrangement and it was reported that Candy was at the hospital when little Liam was born. Candy reportedly said, "Words can’t describe the joy and elation I feel at this truly happy events. I am looking forward to doting on my new little grandson and all the memorable fun that comes with it."
Mother and baby are reportedly doing fine and a rep for the couple said, "They’re all really happy and everybody’s resting now. Tori and the baby are healthy." In December, Spelling announced that she was expecting a boy. She said, "Little boys are a ton of fun. We play tunes for him and watch him kick. He already loves the Dixie Chicks! We went to their concert and he kicked the whole time."
Spelling and McDermott met in August 2005 while filming the made for TV movie Mind Over Murder. Both were married at the time that they met, but claim that their relationship remained platonic until they had broken it off with their respective spouses. They were married in Fiji in a private ceremony in May 2006. Spelling was previously married to actor Charlie Shanian from July 2004 until they split in September 2005. Their divorce was final in April 2006. McDermott was married to Mary Jo Eustace for twelve-years and they have two children together – Jack, 8, and Lola, 20 months. This is the first child for Spelling and McDermott.
