Tori Spelling & Mom to Reconcile

Spelling’s brother and Candy’s son, Randy, said, "My sister and my mom have been communicating for the past few weeks and are planning to see each other soon. They are going to be there for each other and Tori’s baby. My mom is having a grandchild and it puts things into perspective." He added, "No matter what, we are family, and they’re resolving things and getting back together. They are communicating and it makes both of them happy. It’s definitely a mutual thing." Tori, 33, appeared on Monday’s Good Morning America and did acknowledge that she was hoping to patch things up with her mother but did not say whether or not they had been in contact. Tori and her husband Dean McDermott are expecting their first child in the early spring.

It was reported that Tori and Candy first stopped speaking after Tori made fun of her mother on her hit show So NoTORIous. Candy felt as if she was negatively portrayed in the show and as a result she and Tori’s father Aaron stopped speaking to their daughter. Tori and Candy’s relationship reportedly was fractured when Tori left her first husband, Charlie Shanian, for her Mind Over Murder co-star. Luckily, Tori and Aaron made up shortly before he passed away in June 2006. After his death, Tori and Candy’s relationship seemed beyond repair. Tori claimed that she learned of her father’s death through a text message from a friend and not from her mother. She spoke out against her mother and claimed that she was having an affair with a family friend, Mark Nathanson. It was also reported that Candy blocked Tori from receiving a significant portion of her father’s empire. Tori walked away with a mere $800,000 and some change.

Tori and her husband, McDermott, met on the set of the TV movie Mind Over Matter and became engaged in December 2005 and the couple was married in Fiji on May 6, 2006.They are currently appearing in the show Dean & Tori: Inn Love to be shown on the Oxygen network. The show centers on Dean and Tori’s purchase of a bed-and-breakfast in Fallbrook, CA. The show will show the couple getting the B&B ready for guests and the opening of Chateau La Rue. As fir reconciliation, Candy has remained mum on the subject and Tori is not elaborating. Randy seems to be the only Spelling willing to talk about the subject. He recently said, "People can fight, but they love each other." We’ll see….
