Tori Spelling Back as Donna Martin on 90210

Donna Martin graduated from West Beverly High in one of the most memorable episodes of the Aaron Spelling teen drama, Beverly Hills 90210. Since then, Donna's character has started her own family and become a world-famous fashion designer, all while apparently retaining all of those special qualities that made Donna such a unique character. Tori Spelling will be reprising her role as Donna on the 90210 episode that is scheduled to air tomorrow night.

In addition to Spelling's triumphant return to the show, Diablo Cody will be making a guest appearance as well. Diablo Cody is best known for writing the successful screenplay for Juno. Cody will be playing one of Donna's high-fashion clients who is in town for a red carpet appearance. There are problems with the new dress and Donna is there to try to set things right. Hilarity ensues.

It is unclear whether the timing of Spelling's appearance on the show has anything to do with the fact that Shannen Doherty's character, Brenda Walsh, has now moved beyond the screen. Although Walsh's character is still mentioned in the dialogue.

Spelling was seen filming a scene in a convertible on Rodeo Drive with Jenny Garth. The two were being followed in the scene by dozens of photographers and paparazzi. Spelling later pointed out to reporters that she's used to that kind of attention at this point - both on the screen and off.
