Topsy Turvy You and Me!

Imagine the craters of mountains upside down!
What would happen if we walked the blue sky?
Envision every joke met with a cry and frown...
Or the President's Award for a well spoken lie!

How would the swallow look stalking the cat?
Think a while about us walking on our hands!
What if the earth was small, black and flat
With newborns swaying in inter-galactic bands?

Now, close your eyes and encourage this thought...
Man making chlorophyll and plants chewing cud!
Cattle chasing lions and long life being bought
In markets that trade goodies for clumps of mud!

Amuse yourself at brain-storming fed,
With business babies and adult pacifiers,
With cars driving men and questions said,
While answers are asked by saintly liars!

Wow, now that's food for my tired brain;
But, it appeals just a passing moment wee.
Wouldn't trade bright sunshine for rain,
For the fun of topsy turvy you and me!
