Top 10 Comedy Shows

This article pays tribute to the top 10 comedy shows of all time. So read some quick dose of reviews about each of these sitcoms.
You may not like thriller, you may hate drama and you may not have the taste for reality shows. But if your senses do not charge up by watching comedy, then it's time you paid a visit to a doctor. This is because, life without laughs, is analogous to a candle without a wick. And needless to say, laughter has always been the best medicine for all ailments; inexpensive and easily available.

Highest Rated Comedy Shows

Friends
The question is, "Who wouldn't love FRIENDS?" It does not matter who you are, you are most likely to have this comedy show on your most favorite list. So far I haven't known any one with any negative feedback regarding this show. Most of our talks during lunch time revolves around what Racheal, Phoebe, Monica, Ross, Chandler and Joey. If you haven't watched Friends, trust me, you have missed a lot about comedy!

The Simpsons
A bowl of cornflakes, fruits and milk, do not uplift my mood, so much as this show does. Really, for me, there is nothing that can match the quality of humor which The Simpsons project. Without doubt, Homer always steals the show. The best part is when he tries to strangle Bart. If you want to steal some hilarious one-liners to impress someone, take it from this show. "I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman." I almost died laughing out my lungs when Homer blurted out this line...

Whose Line Is It Anyway?
The third on my list is producer Drew Carey's Whose Line Is It Anyway? Intelligent and improvisational humor is what I would like to rate this comedy game show with. Well, if you have not seen it, I wouldn't spoil the fun by telling what goes in this show. But know that, every time, it is a different recipe of laughter.

How I Met Your Mother
This American situation is a flashback which a father narrates to his children, about what incidents led him to meet their mother. Watch it and I am certain, you won't be disappointed.

Seinfeld
Narrowing it down to the fifth one in this list, it is Seinfeld that I would be reviewing about. Another potent dose of laughter, this show has never failed to give me the 'gut cracking' entertainment, even when I watch the same episode more than once.

Frasier
When dark humor is complimented by flawless performance, I am reminded about Frasier. The sophistication that is used as the toppings of the recipe of this show, is like nothing else you would find on other TV shows. Wittiness, is again, one of the bulwarks of this show. Watch it and you would know what I am talking about!

The Office
The comedy and drama here is centered towards the lives of workers. This has one of a kind off-beat sense of humor. The best stuff about it is that it gives the impression of a reality show, but it actually isn't.

Arrested Development
Even the name of this show amuses me at times. This show is all about the Bluth family which shows you the meaning of being dysfunctional, eccentric and quirky with some high doses of laughter. This is one show I would recommend to be watched out for.

Weeds
A perfect example of smart and entertaining television show, Weeds also qualifies to be one of the best comedy shows. Most people are with reviews that Weeds has never missed a beat in all its season and has always kept the adrenalin running among its fans.

Scrubs
Centered around the life of some nurses and doctors in a hospital, this show has made it big among its fans due to its hilarious 'in-mind' monologues and regular conversations too. The most important element attached with this is irony. You watch one season, you will crave for the other, and that's a fact!

So there you are with some rapid-fire reviews on the top TV comedy series. Those who have already got a taste of these shows, would agree with whatever I have put down in this article. And those who haven't, would have just one thing to say after watching them, "That guy was right!" So live, love and laugh!
