Well, this is what Albert Einstein said about education. I think this is actually how it should be, isn't it? Rather than memorizing stuff and then writing them in the exam, as happens in some regions of the world. That is however the case with school education in some cases. But thankfully, the scene is not as bleak in case of higher education. To a great relief of those who are thirsty for education and gaining a good amount of knowledge, there are still excellent universities to look up to.

University of Oxford
You say someone is an Oxford pass out, there is an immediate aura which surrounds that individual. It undoubtedly one of the best. It has been acclaimed as one of Europe's most innovative and entrepreneurial universities.

Stanford
Recognized as one of the world's leading research and teaching institutions, Stanford in the USA, boasts of a fantastic faculty. It also has a wide range of courses available in varied subjects, from medicine to humanities. In addition to academics, Stanford is a great platform for students to indulge in extra curricular activities as well.

University of Cambridge
Arts, humanities, life sciences, engineering, you name it and Cambridge has it all. No wonder it is the melting pot of students from all across the globe. There are 31 colleges in Cambridge and it has a huge treasure trove of museums and libraries. There is also a wealth of sporting and cultural activity at this place.

Yale
Established in 1701, Yale has been on a course of steady path of development and excellent education. Some of its specialized schools are School of Forestry and Environmental Studies (1900), School of Nursing (1923), School of Drama (1955), School of Architecture (1972), and School of Management (1974).

These were the pillars of higher education around the world! Wow! I wish I could have been there in any one of them.I am sure each one of us would at least want to visit these universities, if not study there! The style of teaching in these universities reminds me of something Socrates had said - I cannot teach anybody, anything, I can only make them think..
