Top Rap Songs

Top rap songs keep changing every year and also through the year. In this article, you will see a list of the best rap songs of all time as well as the current favorites...
Rap songs are spoken or chanted rhyming lyrics. It is an art form, which can be broken down into various components, like 'content', 'flow' and 'delivery'. Rapping is different from spoken word poetry, as it is performed in time to a beat and is often said fast. It is said to be the primary ingredient in hip hop songs. The beauty of this music, is that it can be delivered over a beat or even without accompaniment. If we have to talk about the style of rap songs, it can be said that they occupy a gray area among speech, prose, poetry and song. The use of words is so made to describe quick speech or repartee that long predates the musical form. The word rapping has been used in British English, since the 16th century and it specifically means "to say", since the 18th century. It has also been a part of the Afro-American dialect of English in the 1960s' and means to converse. However, now, both the term rapping and rap are closely associated with hip hop music, where the term is used interchangeably a number of times. Having understood all about rap songs and rapping, we will now turn towards top rap songs.
