When I was young and smart
Things were very simple
My heart was just a heart
And a dimple was a dimple

Too soon I'm old, then stupid
Things get very complicated
Along with playing cupid
I now get very constipated

Things are no longer as they seem
So many dilemmas do confuse us!
Life is no longer as we dream
Hey, who threw us under this bus?

First I was too young and then too old
But was I stupid at the start?
