Too Good to be True - Chapter 3

Sorry this took so long to post!
Things have been so different since I've been going out with Jay. It made me forget about my old friends from Manchester. I love him so much, and now everyone knows me. I'm not known as 'the new kid' nor 'shy' or 'loner' etc. neither is Effy and those girls that bullied her are the un-cool ones now. Jay slept round mine the other night too, my mum and dad didn't mind. I'm not a slag or anything, we didn't do anything really, just watched a few movies. Now I'm walking out the house, Jays running out across the road shouting my name. "JAY NO!" I screamed. It was too late; the car came speeding around the corner at like 100 mph and hit him. It was all too fast, what was happening?! I saw the car hit his body and it somersaulting for what seemed like miles. I ran over too him crying. "Jay? Jay please wake up!" I couldn't talk nor breathe because I was crying too much; taking out my phone I dialed 999 and sobbed down the phone of what had happened. His parents were out, so were mine. The driver had turned around and driven off as fast as possible. I pressed the red button on my phone and waited.

Jay's legs were twisted and he had cuts all over him. There was blood everywhere. I held his hand and sobbed lying next to him, after about five minutes the ambulance arrived. At first they wouldn't let me go with him to the hospital but then they said they couldn't leave me in that state and let me in. Watching in the ambulance as they attached machines to him. He was breathing, slowly then he should have been. They took him in an operation room as he was recovering. He still hadn't waked up. They eventually let me sit in the room with him when he was bandaged up, but still un-conscious. I fell asleep from all the crying, still holding his ice-cold hand. I felt a movement and immediately woke up. It was Jay; he opened his eyes, wincing at the pain. "Jay, your okay!" I attempted to say with tears still in my eyes. "w-what happened?" he whispered. "You were in an accident, some car ran you over." "I can't remember anything summer" he said. He moved his right arm and cried of agony. "Careful, you broke most of your bones" I told him.
