Tony Parker Sues Tabloid
NBA star Tony Parker is suing the tabloid that claimed that he had an affair with a model shortly after marrying Eva Longoria.

The defamation lawsuit was reportedly filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court against the tabloid, X17, that printed the story and alleged text messages. Parker reportedly said, "X17 had to know that this story was false, or at the very least, it had to have entertained serious doubts about the credibility of its supposed source." Parker claims that he never had sex with Alexandra Paressant, the model that has come forward claiming the two had an affair.
Rumors of the affair began circulating last Wednesday. Paressant reportedly told x17online.com that she met Parker at his wedding to Longoria in July. She claims that the two began exchanging naughty text messages in early September, which were published by X17. Paressant also claims that she and Parker began an affair in September while he was in Paris and staying at the Hyatt Park Hotel. Parker has since claimed that the text messages were fabricated and that he has never even met Paressant.
When the rumors started Longoria, 32, shot back saying, "Tony has been nothing short of the perfect husband" and that the rumors were "100% false." Parker, 25, said, "I love my wife. She’s the best thing in my life, and I have never been happier." Parker is reportedly upset that X17 never tried to "verify the information with Mr. Parker, Ms. Longoria, any of their representatives or…anyone else who might have knowledge of the truth or falsity of the allegations." Parker is seeking more than $20 million in damages.
