Tonight I Will Break Another Promise

I don't know what it is I hate about myself
But there's something inside me
That bites
And pokes
And stabs
at my heart

Every time I do this
I promise once again that I will stop
I will control myself
I will redeem myself.

But I'm losing it
Whatever is inside me is biting, itching, poking, and prodding
And I falter
I fall
I lose
AGAIN.
