Kids love fun art and crafts projects. So to keep them entertained and help them learn something new, here are some Christmas and Halloween crafts made by toilet paper roll for them to work on.
Christmas Crafts
Christmas is just a month away and your kids must be really excited. Well, make that excitement grow even more with our paper crafts. So let's not waste any time and get right to the following kids' crafts to make with toilet paper rolls.
Angel with Wings
- Get a large colored or white craft paper, scissors, sparkle pens, crayons, pencil, sparkle glue, and ribbon.
- First, you will draw the angel's wings, face, hands, and feet on the entire paper. The best way to do that is get a picture/cartoon of an angel and copy it.
- Cut out the individual pieces. Also, for the angel's hair, you will cut 8 small strands.
- Use the end of the pencil to help curl the hair strands.
- Punch 2 holes behind the toilet paper roll and insert a ribbon through it. Tie a knot.
- You can use the angel as a hanging Christmas ornament.
- Draw the face with sparkle pens and color the hair, hands, feet, and wings with crayons.
- Now one by one, glue the wings, face, hands, feet, and curled hair strands on the angel.
- To make a toilet paper roll Christmas tree, collect a dozen toilet paper rolls, a cardboard, crayons or water colors, glue, and scissors.
- Take each toilet paper rolls and cut them in half. This way, you'll have 24 pieces to work with.
- Use green crayon or water color to paint the outsides of all 24 pieces of toilet paper rolls.
- If you've used water color, let it dry and then use glue to stick them all on the cardboard.
- Since we are making a Christmas tree, the shape should be so.
- Use scissors to trim from outside the cardboard where the toilet paper rolls are not glued.
- You can color the insides of each circle with different colors.
- Once the paint is dry, place couple of candies inside and help yourself to one every day.

Toilet Paper Bats
- As a cool Halloween decoration, we're going to make scary bats for you hang around in your house.
- First of all, collect a toilet paper roll, a white chart paper, a picture of bat, scissors, water color, and glue.
- You will draw the bat's face, wings, and hands on the chart paper, separately.
- Cut each individual piece properly and use black water color to paint them.
- Use white water color or sparkle pen to draw the face.
- Punch 2 holes behind the toilet paper roll and insert a ribbon through it. Tie a knot.
- Now, one by one you will stick the bat's face, wings, and arms in place.
- Once you're done, hang your scary bats around the house or the porch.
- For our next in toilet paper roll craft, collect paper towel rolls, water colors, 1 brown and 1 yellow chart paper, scissors, glue, and 2 Popsicle sticks.
- If you're not familiar as to what a totem looks like, you can printout the designs from the net.
- Open up the chart paper and draw 5 equal sections. Draw 5 different faces for the totem directly on the papers.
- Glue two toilet paper rolls to make one long circular tube and use different water colors to paint the faces.
- Next you will glue the chart paper directly over the circular tube. Make sure the seam is properly glued.
- Take the yellow chart paper and draw 2 zigzag arms for all 5 animals and glue them as well.
- The last thing you do is glue the Popsicle sticks on the bottom of the tube so that the totem pole with stand straight. And that's it, you're done.
