Together Again - Chapter Three - Taking It Slow
KeShaun wants Rayanna to forgive him and take him back, but Rayanna is scared and doesn't want to get hurt again. What will she do? This is a pic of Rayanna...do you think she's cute? Is this what you would've imagined her to look like?
I guess I must have zoned out.
"Yeah, I am here, KeShaun, but I don't want to get hurt again and I'm just scared."
"Raya, I never meant to hurt you back then, I loved you, I just made a mistake."
He loved me? If cheating is how he showed his love, I didn't want it.
"If you loved me, why did you do it, was I not good enough for you?"
"No, Rayanna, you were more than enough for. You were my world and I loved you and I still do."
I looked up at him and smiled. Those were the same lines that got me back in college. There was something about the way he said it that just made me fall for him all over again.
"KeShaun, I don't want to rush into anything with you. I forgive you and everything but I just don't know. I don't know.
"Raya, I understand. We can just take things slow. Seeing you after 6 six years apart was enough for me, but I want you and I'm willing to wait."
"Come on, let's dance." I said ending our conversation.
We went on the dance floor and started dancing. I was having fun, but there was something in the back of my mind that told me keep things slow and simple. I just couldn't take another heartbreak, especially from the same person that caused it the first time.
After a couple more hours of dancing, I was exhausted and ready to head home. But as usual Sasha was just getting started, she had a man in the front and a man in the back.
I finally convinced her to leave, because it was after 3 and I needed my beauty rest.
I said goodbye to KeShaun, and he walked me to the car because Sasha needed to use the bathroom.
(By the way,I only had one alcoholic beverage that whole night and was sober enough to drive home. I do not do drunk driving!!)
As Sasha was walking out KeShaun caught me off guard and asked for my number. I hesitated but then gave it to him. He also gave me his. As Sasha got in the car he kissed me on the cheek and said goodnight to both of us and told us to have safe drive.
Yeah, we were definitely taking things slow.
Tell me what you think and give me advice/ideas on what the next chapter should be and if I should change up some things.---Vicky
