To be so Selfless

For someone to wish away everything they desire, for the others well-being.
So selfless, frankly, almost helpless.
With all the strength in the world, a metaphor that cannot be curled.
You choose to be something more than one of a kind
With your every desire near the edge of your fingertip
You look in the opposite direction,

For the pieces have not aligned to there appropriate fit.
With no intention to risk it, I hate watching you miss this.
You feel something for someone so blind
With no personal satisfaction, your confusing my mind.
For just one moment, this time, I wish i were the one to be blind

Your so insufficiently kind.
I wish I could put your past on rewind, hoping to possibly be able to find.
Find something that will make things easier for you to shine
If you were mine, I would show you every sign.
Your words of wisdom, alongside your abnormal amount of charisma

They create a substantial amount of independence.
Something I am unable to comprehend, or even possibly try to mend.
A being so complex, makes me keep coming back to find out what's next.
