Chapter 7
For a while, the twins looked at each other, seeking approval. Then both broke out at the same time," Oh yes, of-course. We won't miss it for anything. Come on, let's go !"
X21164676589 grinned at them. Then after pressing some buttons and giving some passwords, the machine started vibrating slowly.
The twins requested to be taken to the century from which X21164676589 had come. From a second, there was a blinding white light, then a 'POP' sound, and then a soft 'THUD'.The machine had landed.
"Thank God, no crash this time!", said X21164676589 while leading the way out of the machine, "Here wear this. It'd help you both to talk in and understand digital language - the global language of the 31st century", handing them 2 small bands to be tied around their throat, like a chain.
X21164676589 told them that he, being an archeologist, knew the language of the 21st century, but others here didn't.
When Sid replied to this, he was greatly astonished. From his own mouth uttered numbers and digits, instead of English. To his surprise, both Sandy and the time traveler understood him perfectly well. It seemed as if the band was kind of a translator....
When the twins looked around, they were left mesmerized and awestruck. Never in their wildest dreams, had they ever imagined a world like this. No science fiction movie of the 21st century had ever shown the future to be like this....
Gizmos and gadgets all around,no sign of existence of any sort of displeasure in the surroundings, things rounding off like magic before their eyes-INCREDIBLE, ASTOUNDING.....
The twins were left speechless.
This was unbelievable....

A FEW HOURS LATER....
"Mom-dad,Happy Anniversary once again!" Said the twins in union.
"And here's a small gift from our side," said Sandy, handing over a packed parcel to her parents.
"Oh, children you needn't need to do this all," said Mrs Sharma, beaming although her expression suggested that she could've done with a dozen more gifts! Same reaction was of Mr Sharma. On opening the gift, came out two small square packages, each containing a black square base with a luminous red button.
It was a mini-teleporting device. All you had to do was - set the voice password, say aloud your destination and after you pressed the button, lo and behold, you'd reach there in seconds!
Yeah, Mr and Mrs Sharma didn't believe it was possible, but once they tried it out, it worked!
Of-course, the twins did not tell them about their time traveling adventure adventurer as they'd already given a solemn oath to X21164676589 to protect his secret. Moreover, even if they told anyone, they'd only be called liars.
"Where on earth, did you get this device from?" Asked their parents,utterly amused.
"You won't believe it, if we told you!" Said the twins, beaming.
