Time Travelers

Vampire hunters/everything else.
The sound of breaking glass stopped her.
"Hello?" she asked turning around quickly, getting up off the bed that dwarfed everything in the small box hotel room.
"Ah, Ricky we meet again," said Marco banging her against one of the walls of the room. He winded her and Ricky struggled to get her breath back again.
"Stupid vampire," she gasped, falling forward as Marco zoomed to the other side of the room. "Just leave me alone, you've already tore apart my family."

"Well now I want to tear apart you," said Marco, pushing her against the wall again and taking a deep breath "you smell delicious!" he smiled. She grabbed a vase on a table beside the wall and bashed it on his head. "Now that was a bad idea," smiled Marco not damaged from the smashed vase at all. He threw her across the room, and she crashed through the glass doors and on to the balcony. She could feel blood trickling down here forehead. Marco zoomed on top of her. He bared his fangs. Ricky shut her eyes tightly. Here comes the pain, she thought. But the pain didn't come. She opened one eye. There was a boy standing above her, and the dead pale corpse of Marco beside her.

"You look hurt," said the boy. He was cute, thought Ricky. He had Longish brown hair, blue eyes and he was tall and limber. Just my type, thought Ricky, then she shook her head, I shouldn't be think about stuff like that, at a time like this.
"I feel hurt," she smiled weakly, "I was caught off guard," she said, then began a fit of coughing; the taste of blood filled her mouth. She gagged. Then she felt two strong arms around her and she began to rise. Then her vision began to blur and she blacked out.

She woke up in a strange room that wasn't her own. She had bandages all over her body. The room was painted blue and the bed duvet was red and it smelled like a boy. A boy that smelled nice. Junk and clothes covered the floor and books filled up every corner of the room. She was wearing weird pink pajamas that were too small for her. She sat up in the bed. It hurt her a lot. She held her breath and stood up, leaning on the wall she made her way to the door, being careful not to trip on anything. When she finally reached the door she rested for a minute. Then the door flung open and she fell forward onto her chest.

"Ow," she gasped, as someone lifted her up off he ground. It was the boy who had saved her from Marco.
"Still hurt?" he smiled holding her up by her arm.
"I still feel hurt," she sighed. "Where am I? She asked, looking around at the small unusual hallway.
"Why, you're in my house!" joked the boy. "I've already gotten you into my bed!"
"Great... hopefully I'm not knocked up." she answered back smiling, but then cringing, it hurt to smile.
"You should get back into bed." he said looking concerned. "You're hurt; it's my fault that you were hurt. I should have gotten there faster, my sister will look after you until you get better." he looked down guiltily.

"It's my fault I should have been prepared!" she argued "vampire hunters are supposed to be prepared for everything and I wasn't,"
"What do you mean vampire hunter? You're not one are you?" he asked confused.
"I should introduce myself," she blushed as the boy raised his eyebrow. "I'm Ricky Barnesville,"
"The Ricky Barnesville?" asked the boy shocked. "The famed vampire hunter? The vampire hunter who has killed more vampires than any other vampire hunter in the world?
"Ricky Barnesville the second, the Ricky Barnesville you're talking about died last year. Killed by Marco De Janos last year. I came to avenge him, he is, well was, my father." she explained as the boy lifted her up and but her in his bed again. "I can walk!" she exclaimed.

"I'm Sean Dowry, Vampire hunter for four of my sixteen years...." he grinned proudly Ignoring Ricky.
"And now you have a pledge." she said embarrassedly. "I'm sorry you'll have to but up with me until I save your life too," she looked down and saw that Sean was wearing his vampire hunting ring and realized why he didn't notice that she was in fact a vampire hunter. She grabbed around looking for her chain around her neck with the ring on it. It was gone.

"Are you looking for this? Asked Sean pulling the chain out of his pocket. "I didn't think it was yours, I thought you were just wearing it as a hand me down or something," Ricky snatched out of his hand
"You shouldn't have just assumed," she said angrily.
Then the door of the bedroom opened and a woman in her twenties stepped in holding a tray with a bowel of soup and a bread roll in her left hand. "Well looks like our patent is up and talking," she said cheerily. "I'm Claire, Sean's sister," she smiled and put the tray on Ricky's lap. "Do you like vegetable soup?"

"Yeah it's my favorite!" exclaimed Ricky. Grabbing the spoon realizing how hungry she really was. "I'm starved!"
"Well, I'm glad someone appreciates my cooking," said Claire looking accusatively at Sean. Then Claire noticed the vampire hunters ring in Ricky's hand. "Don't say Sean's gotten himself a pledge?" Ricky nodded embarrassedly.
"I'm sorry, I'll have to live here until, and I break the pledge." Ricky put the spoon down.
"I understand!" said Claire, "I was pledge to my husband before we got married! He's downstairs."
"Claire." a man called a door slammed shut. He sounded in a panic.

"There he is now," said Claire. "I'm in Sean's room." she called down to him. His footsteps came banging up the stairs and the door flung open. A large man stepped in, he was huge, his clothes were ripped and a long gash ran down his face still bumping blood.
"I see we have company," he said coldly. Looking at Ricky.
"It's ok, Mark," said Claire, "She's Sean's new pledge."
"Oh, we have a vampire hunter in our mist." he smiled and held out his hand. "Mark" he said as Ricky shook it.
"Ricky," she smiled embarrassedly.
"Ok," Mark said seriously. "We have to get out of here! Some vampires followed me home and will find a way to get in soon." He looked out the window and then back at the three shocked faces. "Get changed," he said to Ricky, "Sean you stay with her and bring her out to the car when she's ready." Sean nodded and Claire and Mark left the room.

Sean stared at Ricky. "You know, I can't get changed with you looking at me!"
"Oh sorry," He said turning around embarrassedly. "Oh wait, here are some clothes" he grabbed some lapped up clothes on his desk. "There Claire's so they might not fit you."
"It's ok," said Ricky. She quickly pulled up the jeans and pushed the hoody down over her head. Then slipped on a white pair of socks and a pair of runners over them. "I'm ready!" Sean turned around as Ricky reached for a hairbrush on the bedside locker and tied up her hair with a Hair band she had around her wrist. She stood up and smiled trying to hide her pain face.

Suddenly the ground started to shake. Sounds of footsteps and shouting came from all around the house. Ricky fell towards the door and was grabbed by Sean. The floor shook harder.
"Quick," he shouted. They both reached towards the door and fell through after it opened. The door slammed shut after them.
They weren't in Sean's hallway. "Where are we?" gasped Ricky. They were in a coach room of a train. Both of them got up off the floor, with help from the seats beside them.
"Beats me," replied Sean shrugging. Ricky looked out the window and saw green country side speeding past.

"We're on a train!" she exclaimed. She ran with difficulty towards the door which slide open and stuck her head out. "Hello?" she called, but got no reply the hallway was deserted. She felt Sean back up close behind her. "There's no one here!"
"Come on," said Sean pushing past her, "Let's go investigate!" He grabbed her hand and pulled her out into the corridor. They walked down to the next coach. There were people talking in it. They sounded American and very posh. Ricky leaned on the door to hear what they were talking about. The door slide open and Ricky fell in on top of a boy about her age. "OW," she moaned as Sean pulled her off the boy. They both looked into the coach amused. The people sitting in it were wearing ridiculous clothes. Like what rich teenagers would wear during the 1800s.

"What are you wearing?" laughed Ricky, while Sean sniggered behind her.
"They must be making a production of my fair lady," said Sean, they both went up in fits of laughter.
"What do you mean, ridiculous clothes, this is the latest style in Paris," said the boy Ricky fell into. He was wearing a black tux and a high top hat.
"What are you two wearing? A girl wearing pants, not wearing gloves or a hat in mixed company?" said a shocked girl, with a posh accent, wearing an elaborate baby pink dress, and silk white gloves on her hands and a huge pink hat on a complicated hair style.

"What date is this," asked Ricky copiously.
"Why it's the eight of February 1900," said another boy also wearing a tux.
"Oh my god," Said Ricky in a panic looking at Sean.
"It's not 2010?" asked Sean causly,
"No," said another posh girl, "Why ever would you think such a travesty," Sean's eyes grew wide.
"I don't feel so good," Sighed Ricky. Then she blacked out.

"Hello? Hello?" Ricky heard a girl call. She opened one eye. There was the girl wearing the pink dress standing over her. "Are you alright?" she asked curiously. Ricky looked around her. There were no boys in the room.
"Where's Sean," she asked instantly.
"Boys can't see girls getting changed!" said the girl
"Changed," asked Ricky, she looked down to see an uncomfortable blue corset, and frilly buffy skirt on her, complete with blue silk gloves "what am I wearing?"

"Sean told us how you're from the future and my father told me to make you blend in, you'll be living with my family you and Sean, until you can get back, of course, Juli-Ann is my name, good to meet you."
"Ricky," Ricky replied, trying to stand up.
"I wouldn't," said Juli-Ann, "You're very hurt," Ricky ignored her and stood up, ignoring the pain. She flung off the gloves and threw the stupid blue hat that was on her head on the floor. Then she undid her hair that was in a stupid style, messing it as much as she could.

"If I'm doing this, I'm doing it my way," she said walking toward the carriage door, "high heels? You gotta be kidding me!" she stepped down off the heels and kicked them backwards. "Oh, and frills don't work for me," she said tearing the frills off the dress. Juli-Ann just stared shocked at Ricky. Then Ricky went straight towards the door and ran into the boy she bumped into before.

"Well, Hello," he said, "You must be Ricky!" he smiled a cheeky smile and bent over to kiss her hand. "I see you're having trouble with the clothing style too," he smirked, "I'm Henry," Then Sean appeared from behind him, his hair was scruffy and he was wearing a black tux, which was of course unbutton at the top and looked messy toward all the other boys. His top hat was wonky on the side of his head.
"You look nice," Sean whispered down to Ricky.
"Thanks, you don't look so bad yourself," She replied. As if he could sense that it was hurting her to stand, Sean grabbed her around the waist and took her weight off her feet. She sighed with relief.

"Well there's nothing going on here," said Juli-Ann accusingly. Sean ignored Juli-Ann and lifted Ricky back to a chair.
"So where's our destination?" Sean inquired, sitting down close beside Ricky, unconsciously playing with her fingers. She rested her head on his shoulder. They were so comfortable together even after only knowing each other for a day. They had much chemistry between each other. Ricky finally thought she had found the one guy who was perfect. She day dreamed quietly, staring out the window for what seemed like an age. She rested against the warmth of Sean's body. As the monotone conversation and the bumping of the train drifted her to sleep.

Ricky awoke to an abrupt stop of the train, swinging forward and banging her head off the back of the chair.
"Where here!!" called Juli-Ann cheerfully.
"Where's here?" asked Ricky, yawning.
"Do you ever listen? Here is New York!" Juli-Ann stood up and walked out leaving Henry to carry her luggage. Sean lifted Ricky up without thinking.
"Put me down!" She exclaimed, "I feel a lot better now," She crossed her arms and made the most serious face she could. He laughed swinging her down to the ground again. She pushed her heels on, because she couldn't find any other shoes. Sean grabbed Ricky's hand and pulled her towards the door of the train, where he jumped down to the ground. Then he reached up to help Ricky down, put she ignored him and jumped down by herself.

Juli-Ann and Henry were standing with the group of people who were in the coach. Ricky looked sneekcly a Sean.
"You want to go exploring?" She asked making sure both Juli-Ann or Henry weren't looking. Sean nodded.
"Good idea! We'll never get the chance again!" and they both sneacked off into the crowd.
