Tiger, Back in the Woods
Tiger Woods confesses his infidelity to be a better person.

The 33-year-old, became a sporting star at the age of 21, after winning his first major in 1997. He is four short of beating Jack Nicklaus's record of 18 major wins. His announcement to take an indefinite break, is likely to dishearten sponsors for Professional Golfers Association (PGA) tour. Bob Hope tournament, which is still struggling for title sponsorship, is likely to be affected too. However, Wood's biggest sponsor, Nike, has decided to stand by him in his times to trials and tribulations. His agent, Mark Steinberg, affirmed this by stating, "Suffice it to say, we have had thoughtful conversations and his sponsors have been open to a solution-oriented dialog."
In the midst of all these, reaction of the sponsors will be an interesting feed for the media to catch on, in the coming days of the Tiger Woods case. However, Woods' lawyers in Britain, have obtained an injunction, on publishing the golfer's naked photographers.
The decision to take a break from his golf career, is believed to have its origin in the ultimatum that his wife, Elin gave him. With the news of so many extramarital affairs, Elin said that it would take a long time to rebuild the trust. The golfer's wife, has requested him to take a break, before their children are old enough for them to travel as a family. In his final plea to his fans, Tiger Woods stated, "I would like to ask everyone, including my fans, the good people at my foundation, business partners, the PGA Tour, and my fellow competitors, for their understanding. What's most important now is that my family has the time, privacy, and safe haven we will need for personal healing. After much soul searching, I have decided to take an indefinite break from professional golf. I need to focus my attention on being a better husband, father, and person."
