Tick Tick

For my English poetry assignment... want to know if its good.

Everyone's heart is ticking,
Ticking away as we live.
It ticks in a rhythm,
Ticking through time.

Everyone's heart is ticking,
It skips in excitement.
Our ticking may go fast,
But it can stop in an instant.

Everyone's heart is ticking,
We take this for granted.
The ticking is our life,
Ticking till the end of time.
