In the year gone by
With each passing
Something good remains behind
Sweet memories and the glory of a new tomorrow.
Each cloud brings us a silver thread of hope
And each new sunrise
A brighter future to begin again.
Let’s be good to each other
And thank the Lord for all we have
That we may rely on each other
Learn from the good and keep the bad away.
Let’s love each other
And thank the Lord
That at this time of Advent
We are together once more.
