Those Sweet Memories
A love at the height of its passion.
Beneath the canopy of the ancient oak,
Among fallen leaves of Autumn's coat,
My mortal mind did wander far,
Of walks, hand in hand, through the park,
We watched the sunset, cool and crimson,
As it sank beneath the horizon.
In the cold breeze of nighttime's cloak,
I offered the warmth of my winter coat,
And held you close as we walked home,
Beneath the silver lighted moon,
Your eyes twinkled like the stars,
I stole a kiss, you stole my heart.
We warmed our bones by the fire,
We talked of deep love and desire,
The kisses shared were never planned,
Instinctive love being our command,
As our shadows danced in the flickering light,
We made magic love all through the night.
Flamed from passions within our souls,
Desirous hunger and lust took hold,
Amid the sweat and tears of copious joy,
And voluminous energy employed,
We lay together in a spent embrace.
Oh how I cherish those sweet memories.
