This Mess You've Made

Its emo....something I know the kids will like
Our love was tried but not true
And time spent with you is slowly killing me
Much like my blade could do
So many times have you bled out my heart
Me never wanting so badly to die
But when my arm gave me life or death
It was then that I felt most alive
Always hated how your sanity drove me insane
Now laughing through the pain
Pulling pride, hate, and desperation across my vein
Colors blur and lines begin to fade
Your love drove me to it
And I hope you’re proud of this mess you have made
But for me no singing angels no big pearly gates
Only loneliness and regret
And the shame of forcing you to pay for my mistake
