This Love - Part 5

We started to walk, and it was hard to control my need to run, werewolf style. But mother said we had to be human for this trip. So here goes. "Ella!" I tried calling her in my mind, mates can do that you know. Especially strong ones like me and Ella. But there came no reply. Either she's here and ignoring me, or she's not here. "She's here Chad. I can feel her." Katarina said simply, passing me on the trail. I believed her. Ella and her have been through so much, it's not surprising they can sense each other. Not before long we entered the wood. It was dark, and shady. We entered, and all at once all of our senses were heightened. I could smell everything. The earth, the trees, the air, the water, the sky!

"I can feel something..." Llena whispered, in a hushed voice.

"This must be what Alpha's presence feels like..." Nico replied, an arm tight around her waist.

We all nodded, and crept on, all a little spooked, but all set on finding Ella. We all need, and miss her. We all giggled, as Llena and Nico were in front, even through the gloomy light, we could still see Nico's sponge bob boxers, they could hear us, but they didn't know what was going on, until Nico felt it. He spun around, eyes watering with laughing so hard, and almost fell down. "Why does the air like my boxers so much?" He almost howled, and the silence and tension was broken. We all fell about laughing, and it felt so good, and right. I haven't been this happy since...

Suddenly, 4 figures emerged from the mist and gloom, and we were all down in defensive positions, forgetting we are forbidden to turn. They stepped forward, and the barrier of dust was broken, we could see all of them. Two girls, and two guys. All were quite obviously werewolves, by the fact that they all had yellow eyes, purely to help them see through the fog. Once we had established we all are of the same species and that we were all on our side of the war, we sat and talked.

"I am Prince Chad," I introduced themselves, and instantly they all bowed. I raised them up formally and said to them, "We are all equals here. I will accept none of that." They all nodded, and the rest introduced themselves.

"My name is Tae," the front girl said. She was quite obviously the ring leader, as all of them looked to her for guidance. I am also sure she may have turned the rest of them. She had brown hair, down to her waist, and her eyes were still glowing yellow. I got the feeling, they would be bright green in the sunlight. She was Chinese origin, we found out. All she did was talk! She had a heart-shaped face, and she was small and slim. But she looked as if she'd kick your ass if she needed to. She was wearing a ripped black top and some skinny jeans and some military boots. Her hair was in a high ponytail, and she had dried blood on her arms and jeans. She also had a scar on her neck, that looked like it ran pretty deep. Down to her waist I suppose. Battle scars. The guy standing next to her, looked at her as if she was the angel on top of the Christmas tree.

"This is Lucas." She said, gesturing to him. He was handsome in a way that anyone would find appealing. And the way she looked at him, he was her world. It was obvious they were mates.

He had short brown hair, styled up, so it had a kind of quiff at the top. His eyebrows were heavy, and brooding and his face was chiseled and square-jawed. His brown eyes were intent, and he looked like he was ready to rip someone apart if they touched Tae. He was wearing a navy blue sweater top, which was unbuttoned so you could see his chest which probably set all the girls wild.

"And this is Laea." The way she said it, you could tell she was very special to her. They looked very alike, they had the same color hair, but Laea's was about 2 inches shorter, and her lips were plumper. She was shyer than Tae, and so she tries to make up for it by dressing more outgoing than Tae. She wore a gray silk top that Ella would've died for, and short shorts and military boots like Tae. She had the same scar as Tae, but her hair hid it better. The guy standing behind her again, looked at her as if she was his entire cosmos.

"This is Jensen." Laea said quietly.

Jensen looked very different to the others, as he had blond hair, but styled in the same way as Lucas. His blue eyes were almost as piercing as Matt's, and his chin was dimpled, and this probably drove more girls wild. His lips were plump and he looked mysterious. As if he had secrets. He wore normal clothing for a dude, I can't really say much about it.

They wanted to know why we were out here, so Llena jumped in and told them, what seemed like mine and Ella's whole story. I didn't realize, but we had walked to the lake already. I was too busy studying our new guests to watch where we were going. "Of course we'll come!" Laea exclaimed. I was shaken out, and smiles were worn on everyone's faces.

"Well I guess Ella will have some new girlfriends!" Katarina smiled, and welcomed the girls to the group. The guys seemed easy to get on with, and Llena and Nyx and Xanthe already started to make preparations for the night.
