This is the Guy You Do Not Want to Invest With!

So you want to invest in real estate and you attend one of those real investment get-togethers and meet Robert. He is looking for a partner to invest with.
Robert is a real person who I know that you would never want to partner up with on any real estate investment deal!

Why? Is he a crook? Heavens, no! He is one of the most decent honest people you would ever want to associate with.

Is he knowledgeable? To hear him talk about all the courses and workshops he has taken over the last ten years you would certainly think that he had learned something.

So why would you not want to have Robert as an investment partner?

Well first would you want to invest with someone who has already purchased not one or two or three or four or even five investment properties but 13 and has not got the first one ready for a person to either rent with an option to buy or sell!

You see Robert buys foreclosures like some people buy clothes that are the hot item - on impulse! Robert is a Collector of every thing! He collects all the past three years of the newspaper which he usually does not read. He collects magazines he finds "dumpster diving" in the post office. He collects junk beside the road. He collects houses from foreclosure sales.

He is a Collector who is what a psychologist would call "anal retentive." He can't let go of his stuff including the houses he has collected. His home is stuffed literally from floor to ceiling in every room!

Robert is also one of the most disorganized humans I have ever encountered. He appears to be organized as he is always writing down something on a tiny piece of paper he keeps in his shirt pocket. Problem is he can never find the piece of paper later on!

So can you imagine what is like for him to try to keep track of all the things he needs to do at his houses? He can't and has no clue what he should be doing next.

Furthermore Robert is one of the world's worst "I will get around to it" individuals and he is always finding a reason he can't work on one of his houses. It is that the taxes are due - from five years back! Surprise there? No! It is that one of his future wife's kids need to be picked up and taken to a store since they are all illegal aliens!

Would anyone in the their right mind invest with Robert?

Would you?

We all know that renting or selling homes in the current USA market is dismal right now. Atlanta where I live was just voted the third most vacant city in America! And Robert expects to either rent or sell his 13 homes? It is a buyer's market for the foreseeable future. Most of Robert's homes need a great deal of work done to them and now he is running out of money! So he is patrolling the real estate investment meetings looking for a partner.

I hope that you will do due diligence on your future real estate investment partner and not wind up with a Robert.

Frankly as a former consumer investigative reporter for Post Newsweek I would currently only look at one type of real estate investment which is discussed below at the web site.
