Thinking Way to Hard

The ironic thing about this is, these simple sounding things aren't so simple.
Have you ever thought about common things in far to uncommon ways? Like, think about an airplane. It's a simple invention: engines move air to propel it into the air. It's relatively safe and convenient, but have you ever thought about what they crash? Sure, they have their procedures for surviving the crash, but they don't have any methods for stopping it. There's not much to be done, so all its safety measures are only there in case of absolute failure.
Another thing to think about: nutrition facts labels. How did they get those numbers? Did they feed them to people and measure it then, or did they actually insert 14 grams of fat into the food? And those serving sizes are just another population control thing. If you only ate things to serving sizes and only ate things till you got 100% of the recommended daily amount, you would slowly starve. No I will not only eat 4 potato chips, I will eat half the bag and not care if they get me fat. They can try, and they will fail just as other foods have done before them.

More things to think about: why are some dreams longer than the time you sleep? Why are shoes so damn expensive? Why do hospital gowns not cover your backside? Why do people keep moving back to New Orleans? Why do the teenage mutant ninja turtles follow the teachings of a rat? How has Twilight not been condemned by the pope yet? Now, if you know the answers to some of these questions, don't be a jerk about it. This isn't serious, despite the overly serious tone I have used.
