The Yearning
It's been awhile since I've posted something. So here's something new and not so morbid.
You and I; we play this vicious game.
Spinning around in circle after circle,
Wishing on things that should never be.
Seeing in each other, what no one else can see.
The things we want will always be the same.
Back and forth, Turn by Turn
With every small touch, the more we yearn
The moonlight dances along the tree-line
Then lightly across your face, only to reveal those eyes
So vigorous and full of passion; they keep me sane.
Those lips of yours I never thoguht would be mine;
They hold no disdain.
The space around us; Indefinite and unconfined.
Feeling the blades of grass beneath your being shift;
With every step you're closing in.
Things forbidden are on which I thrive.
Things meant to condemn a soul are what we find ourselves within
Writhing, twisting, bending; Our bodies intertwined
This dance has only begun, caressing and teasing
With a feel on the verge of electricity.
Slowly, and delicately you take me.
Powerful. Affectionate. Now we are yours
Drawing near is the sun that once was lost.
Idling so serene on the surface of the world.
It won't be long, until we are here again.
In a moment that was never so openly at hand
We take advantage of every second we have.
With never ending thoughts, an emptiness is now dead and gone.
Much like the trees in winter.
Much like your touch long before this night.
Much like the aroma of your scent that now fills my nose with delight
Much like the old you, replaced with a far more pleasant sight.
Your presence sings to me a song of warmth that echoes off my skin
Reflecting from my mind are the things we've desperately longed for to begin again.
And here we are where we thought we'd never be, where we want to never end.
Spinning around in circle after circle,
Wishing on things that should never be.
Seeing in each other, what no one else can see.
