The Wrong Side of the Track

It's about a girl who starts to fall for a guy her friends and family don't approve of...
"Ugh, now that's a disgrace look at how low he's wearing his pants," Katie said.

Katie was a borderline racist but if you told her that she'd deny it and say she criticize people equally no matter race but it's not rue just finish listening to her talk.

"Uh-huh Katie but look at that guy he's sagging way lower than him," I replied.

I pointed at a white male skating past us.

"Oh well his pants are also tight maybe he couldn't pull them up all the way it's not the same thing."
"Why not there both sagging maybe it's only okay if they're white."
"Oh there you go again I'm not racist I criticize-"
"People equally no matter race yeah, yeah." I cut her off.
"Well it's true I would never discriminate uh look at that one he's probably standing there waiting to sell drugs."
"Katie you're such a-"

That's when I saw him standing there against the wall with his caramel colored skin in his g-unit hoodie and black baggy pants.

"I'm such a what huh."

That's when it happened I was so wrapped up in staring at him and ignoring Katie I walked straight into a tree and fell straight on my back.

"Oh my gosh Audrey are you ok." Katie asked with slight concern in her voice.

I was so shocked by her slight concern that I forgot I was lying on my back in the middle of the sidewalk.

"Damn shawty you hit that pavement hard you need some help."

I felt the person helping me off the ground. I turned around to thank the person and to my surprise it was him the guy I was staring at before I smacked into the tree.

"You ok," he asked.
"Uh-uh yeah I'm fine I'll be fine."
"Ok then."

I went to walk away and stumbled a little he reached out to catch me but I caught myself.

"You sure shawty."
"Uh-huh."
"She'll be fine," Katie snapped.
"Thank you," I said to him as I gave Katie the meanest look I could.

Katie and I started walking after a while I turned around and he was watching me walk away I couldn't help but blush and daydream about how gorgeous he looked till mini Hitler brought me back to reality.

"Ugh can you believe that guy," Katie barked.
"Katie all he did was try to help" I snapped back at her.
"By calling you demining names like s-h-awty."
"It's not a demining name it's just like saying girl or lady."
"Whatever oh my gosh Audrey you have a huge bump on your head."
"Really," I ran my fingers across my forehead, "ow it hurts."
"You should put some ice on it before your date with Tony tonight."
"Oh god I forgot all about that."
"How do you forget a date with your own boyfriend."
"Because I did oh he's gonna laugh when I tell him I ran into a tree."

Me and Katie have been friends since the second week me and my parents moved into Worthington a gated community I liked to refer to as elm street cause it was a nightmare. Katie came to my house to pick out an outfit for me to wear on my date I didn't care me and Tony had been dating for five months I felt like we didn't always have to look perfect for each other. Even though we don't have to look perfect for each other I didn't want to go with a huge bump in the middle of my forehead so while Katie radied my closet I laid and thought about how hot that guy was. He had to about 6'0 skinny but muscular he had a nice voice it wasn't too deep and defiantly not too high but in the middle oh how the words he said echoed in my head "shawty" "shawty" he was perfect. I fell asleep in the midst of my daydreaming and Katie's rambling. When I awoke 30 minutes later to Katie yelling at me I had a huge headache.

"I can't believe you fell asleep we have a lot of hair and make-up to do and your asleep."
"It's not that big a deal Katie."
"It's your 5 month anniversary and it's not that big a deal."
"That's what I said."

I looked at the clock it was 4:30 it took 45 minutes for Katie to finish my hair and make-up. It was 5:15 when she was finished I had 15 minutes to get to the restaurant. I asked Katie to lock-up cause my parents weren't home like usual. I hopped in my 2003 ford mustang convertible and drove as fast as I could when I got there Tony was already sitting down I walked to the table gave him a kiss and sat down.

"Hey Audrey."
"Hi, Tony you won't believe what happened to me today I walked right into a tree."
"What?"
"Isn't that funny."
"No, I couldn't imagine how embarrassed you were."
"I wasn't I was in more pain then anything."
"I think it would be deathly embarrassing."
"So you don't think it's funny."
"No, not at all."

Okay I'll admit sometimes Tony could be a little stuffy but since he was 5 he's been in catholic school then 12 military school and 14 to boarding school finally at 18 his parents let him go to a normal school. Well not really normal it was a whooping 150,000 dollars a year to attend but, it wasn't half bad I liked it there.

"Audrey I brought you here to talk about something."

All I could think was wow is this it is he gonna pop the question we'd only been dating a few months buts I knew I loved him and pretty sure he loved me what else would he need to talk about on our 5 month anniversary.

"Yes, tony."
"This is really difficult for me."
"I'm listening."
"Well we been dating for a while and I think that-"

Or not...
Do you like this and should I continue?
Yes.
No.
Don't care.
Go back to one more chance.
