The Wrong Side of the Track Ch.12

"Excuse me this is not make-out session 101 back to your seats" the librarian yelled

Me and tony pulled apart and we just stood there looking at each other. He reached out and touched my cheek I grabbed his hand my cheek was wet, I was crying.

"Did you hear me move to your seats now" the librarian hissed to me and tony so i walked to my seat next to Katie and tony walked to his next to Dawson.
"now stay in your seats I see I have to check in more frequently I’ll be checking up every 15 minutes got that." She continued

She left and everyone started to scatter Katie went over to Dawson and Marcus came and sat next to me.

"You ok" he asked
"Uh yeah" I replied
"you sure cause I saw you crying"
"oh yeah, no I’m fine it’s just you know-"
"Um Audrey can I talk to you" tony asked

I looked at Marcus then back to tony

"Sure" I replied

Tony grabbed my hand and led me in between the horror and romance aisle of the library.

"Look Audrey I know I hurt you and I’m hoping you can forgive me"
"You’re forgiven now is that all because Marcus is waiting for me?"
"No that’s not all, what’s going on between you and this Marcus guy"
"nothing he’s a friend and its none of your business"
"That’s where you’re wrong it is my business"

"because I want you back Audrey"
"Tony no you can’t do this to me"
"Please Audrey just think about it and give me your answer on Monday"

Before I could get my sentence out his lips were enclosed over mine kissing me just as passionately as before. When he pulled away and I opened my eyes, I saw Marcus standing there looking at us. He walked back to his seat and didn’t say another word to me for the rest of detention. Finally when 2:30 came around we were dismissed and I waited on the steps for Marcus.

"Hey Marcus"
"Audrey I know we had plans but I gotta do something so maybe another day"
"Um okay"
He started walking down the steps towards the parking lot then he stopped and turned to face me.

"Oh and its Witter"
"What"
"my last name its Witter"
"Oh bye Mr. Witter"
"See ya Ms. Liddel"

He went to the parking lot got on his bike and left and I got in my car and went home. When I got home I headed to the kitchen, I saw Derek in the living room with some girl I assumed was his girl friend. She had a long thin body very tanned skin and long flowing blonde hair she could pass for a model.

"Hey Audrey this is jasmine, jasmine this is Audrey" Derek introduced us
"Hi Audrey I’ve heard a lot about you" she said
"Really" I questioned
"No, but it’s nice to meet you"
"Yeah nice to meet you too"
"I didn’t think you’d mind her coming over because you had your date today you know"
"oh yeah that got canceled but I’m headed to the movies so have fun"
"Audrey wait are you okay"
"Yup I’m fine" I looked over his shoulder and jasmine looked irritated "now go back to your girlfriend have fun"

I got in my car and went to the movies I decided to go see Gran Torino the previews looked good. The movie was just what I needed it keep my mind from wondering to tony and-
