The Wrong Girl - Chapter 6 Could've Swear...

After about 3 months..

Elena had doodled all over her copy. She had little... well the truth be told, no interest at all to what the bald little Mr. Rick was yapping about for the last thirty minutes. The huge classroom with equally huge windows overlooking the huge garden outside was warm, very warm almost stuffy. It made the sleep deprived Elena even sleepier.

Elena's head kept giving up to the gravity pulling at it. Suddenly someone opened a window and Elena felt the cold breeze blow around her. It was such a relief.

Liking the cool wind, Ely turned her head up slowly. It was like the window was opened for her sake. Suddenly a chill went down her spine; she felt Evan's eyes on her. She could've sworn someone was looking at her back and somehow Ely wished it was Evan's eyes that were set on her.

Over the months she had learned how to control her tears. Now she didn't burst out crying every time she missed Evan. She just controlled it in; it obviously didn't mean she was moving on. She felt like Evan hadn't left, like she didn't know the truth.

Well, of course, she didn't know the truth; at least what happened after that wed... you know what. Elena kept that secret far behind her; all she now remembered was the good memories of her relationship with Evan. She knew she could never stop loving him.

With her head full of Evan's thoughts Elena missed out on something that moved outside the huge window. She thought she saw something but she couldn't be sure. Her head turned straight again, but then she felt someone's eyes on her back once again.

Instinctively she turned around to the same place she thought she saw someone. But no one was there. That's when she finally noticed him.

The blonde guy was staring at her weird. She couldn't point out where she had seen him, she never noticed him in that class before.

'What was his name?' Elena thought for a second.

As soon as their eyes met, the guy went from uncomfortable to complete awkward phase. It was obvious he was having doubts whether to smile at her or to just pretend that he wasn't staring at Elena.

The way he looked, it made Elena unsure if she should smile or not.

"Shit" the guy cursed under his breath too loudly for the silent class.

"Excuse me Mr. Aaron do you have any problem?" Mr. Rick asked.

'Aaron! That guy... he lives in the same apartment as mine' Elena remembered suddenly.

'The chocolate guy' she smiled to herself as she remembered what Nina called him.

"No, Mr. Rick, No problem at all" Aaron said as he shifted down toward his seat to hide his face from all the people staring at him with amused eyes.

Everyone laughed but went on to study anyway. Elena did the same while Aaron felt more stupid than ever.

'What the hell was that? Why couldn't you have just smiled and shut the hell up? Damn that's the most stupid thing I've ever done in my life' Aaron sulked silently.

After some more misery, the class ended. Aaron didn't stop feeling stupid and had no ounce of energy to make up for the mistake he had just made. Even though he acted like he didn't care he was silently wishing for Elena to come talk to him.

As he made his way to get out of the class, he was secretly looking for Elena. He couldn't spot her anywhere at the crowd gently making their way out.

Finally at the hallway, there she was looking so damn pretty.
It looked like Elena was looking for him as well. That boosted up Aaron's confidence well to be more precise, boosted up his pride. Suddenly from looking for Elena he went on to completely ignore Elena, even though he could see she was looking for him from the side of his eyes.

His hands were twitching for that formal shake of the formal introduction. Even though it had been almost three months of living in the same house, Elena had hardly talked to any of her housemates. She was always locked up inside her room.

If it wasn't for Nina, Elena could stay in that yellow room for an eternity. And thanks to Nina, Aaron had a sight of just how sexy Elena was... in that little black dress.

Aaron didn't get to enjoy his flashback of the day when had Elena worn his favorite black dress for long. Aaron's head jerked when he noticed Elena's eyes had caught him but hadn't settled there. Elena wasn't looking for him.

(Aaron's dreams... shattered into million pieces... ouch!)

Aaron didn't get the time to summon what happened next. Elena suddenly started running towards him. Aaron's heartbeat went wild... now not only his hands but his arms were twitching. He wanted to hold that slender bodied girl close to him, sniff her hair... he wondered what her hair would smell like.

Vanilla... yeah that's exactly what she's gonna smell like, Aaron thought.

But once again his dream shattered into millions of sad pieces.
Yes... Elena was running toward him... it was like a scene from a movie but...sadly Elena ran past him and kept on running.

Aaron's head snapped to see where she was going. Aaron could have sworn that Elena was actually looking for him...

He had never been wrong about this kinda stuff before... he could read girls like open books obviously except Elena it seemed.

"What is up with that chick?" Aaron scratched the back of his head feeling both confused and curious as ever.

Elena kept running, elbowing each and every person on her way.

She had hesitantly decided to talk to the Aaron guy. She sorta felt guilty for not remembering him and also being the reason for that embarrassing moment. She was waiting for the guy outside the class. She had been rocking back and forth on her heels, replaying "hey... sorry about earlier. I'm Elena... we live at the same apartment right?" over her mind again and again.

It had been the tenth time Elena repeated the dialog silently when she had caught a glimpse of the brown head she could've sworn was Evan's head.

Elena's breath caught short and without even thinking her legs took over her mind. she... ran like an idiot to her Evan.
