The Wrong Girl - Chapter 12 Drunk to Sober
Who could be the chick that spun the Elena's world around???

"Is she alright? How did she fall? What happened?"
"I don't know Aaron, stop yelling at my ears!"
"Ely... honey are you alright?"
Elena felt her head float, someone was grabbing it and she felt a strong yet soft pillow under it. Then she saw an angel above her. He had blue eyes, blonde hair, slightly tanned skin, and he was speaking to her....
"Elena... are you okay?"
Elena snapped out of it. The angel she thought she saw was Aaron! What the hell is wrong with me? Aaron, an angel? Too much alcohol running through my body! Elena thought.
She tried to rise, but a strong hand stopped her, Nina's.
"No, Ely... no waking up. Just stay there! And what the hell happened Ely? How the hell did you land up flat on that freaking large table?"
Elena's head was spinning. She was drunk but everything was clear to her head, nothing was a blur except for her vision (11 beers and other uncountable quantity of alcohols ought to be the reason). But even so, she was sure of what she saw. That's when her head started spinning to the past, to the beginning of the day, today.
11:00 am
Elena had woken up on Saturday and felt delighted. She somehow knew this was going to be a good one. It had been so long since she had been to a party rather throw one. This was perfect. She could make more friends, at least common friends of Nina and Aaron. She got up and went straight to Aaron's room....
Umm.. after 30 seconds of that decision she regretted it.
Aaron was half naked! With his perfect abs and perfect body and all his perfectness... he gave her a shy yet cunning smile that made Elena's heart skip a beat. The door opened and closed instantly, Elena rested herself there, and listened to her heart beat at a train's speed. Her eyes wide open. She couldn't believe it.
It wasn't the first time she had seen Aaron without a shirt, but the reaction was the very first and one of its kind. She didn't understand it herself but still she reacted quickly. She got out of it and calmed herself before Aaron stepped out in the very same attire. Elena rested herself to the wall, she needed the strong support.
"Hey, wassup?" Aaron smiled.
"Oh, nothing... I just wanted to know if you guys needed any help, you know, for the party and all"
"Oh it's okay...we're done. Everything's quite ready so all you gotta do is, be the perfect host!" Aaron elbowed her teasingly.
He elbowed me? When did we get that close?
"Wait what? Why should I be the host? You guys did all the work! That's not fair!"
Aaron stretched his lips covering the half distance to his cheeks, dwindling his eyes in the process and got closer to Elena, their nose almost touched. Elena could breathe the minty fragrance from his mouth mixed with the weird yet sensual odor of his aftershave.
"Because you're the cutest among the three and it is fair since we did all the work, we can party even harder!"
Aaron cuddled her cheeks sweetly and started walking.
"Cutest? Hardly!" she whispered.
"What?"
Elena shook her head rapidly.
"Nothing... I didn't say anything!"
"Okay..."
Elena's heart didn't stop racing at the evening, but for different reasons. As said before she really hadn't been to a party for over a year now and hosting one was out of the question. She didn't know how to start. Was she supposed to smile and welcome everyone that came along? Or was she to let the guest talk to her? So damn confusing...
But when the actual guest started coming over, Elena relaxed. Coz' they weren't really guests, they were classmates, friends waiting to be, of course everyone knew Nina and Aaron. Elena started enjoying the music, the food, and surprisingly the company. Nina and Aaron were dancing together while Elena was busy talking to new faces.
Once while taking a breather in the corner of the house, she scanned the room. Now, she knew most of the faces and people weren't staring at her they were smiling at her. They were ready to accept her. She was ready to accept everything that happened and get a life for a change. Her eyes paused on merry Nina and Aaron. They looked so happy, they were drunk and dancing.
Looking at the side, Elena saw the drinks. She bit a part of her lips, she was tempted. She wanted to let her hair down for once. "What the hell!" was the last thing Ely said before taking a one huge sip of a weird tasting 'drink' again and again. Before she knew it, her hair was as loose as it could get and she was dancing like old times and having a blast with everyone in the room.
"You're a great dancer!" someone yelled from behind.
"I know!" Ely yelled back and let out a childish laughter.
"Too bad... no one else can see, I think you should dance on the table. A little preview for everyone." He said teasingly.
Normally, Ely would've denied even thinking the idea but right then she was drunk as hell and the idea felt too enticing. Next thing she knew, she was on the table dancing her moves and rocking it.
Until, of course she saw the blonde walk in to the hall and kiss Aaron in the cheek and talk carelessly. That was when Elena's head started spinning like all the alcohol gulped was affecting her brain working in full force. Everything started blurring and before she knew it she fell to the table and felt the cold surface with the pang of a pain.
Now...
"No, Ely... no waking up. Just stay there! And what the hell happened Ely? How the hell did you land up flat on that freaking large table?"
Weakly, all Elena could speak from her mouth was "Sarah..." and she was in a matter of a second from drunk till death to sober as hell.
