The Witchchild and the Spirits
This is about a girl that has so many secrets that she can't have friends--the kind of secrets that van kill. It up to a set of twins to show her that being different and deadly isn't so bad.

I closed my eyes as I leaned back against the wall and put my headphones into my ears. I sighed as the soothing sounds of the classic washed over me and blocked out the multiple voices. I wished that the day was already over so that I could go home to my woods. There wouldn't be any voices there to torment my mind and give my headaches. Instantly, I opened my eyes and walked into the building. I didn't stop to think that I hadn't really heard the bell ring.
When I got into the classroom, I pulled my headphones out and winced at the torrent of voices that pounded into my brain. I quickly went to my seat in the back by the window. I glanced out it toward the sea. Maybe if I focused hard enough on it, then the voices would stop banging against my skull. I turned toward the front of the class as the tardy bell rang. Mr. Bryant rapped his ruler against his metal desk. The room grew quiet but the onslaught of voices continued. I sighed, sometimes-most of the time-I wished that I wasn't gifted with the ability to read minds. Some of the things people thought of, my classmates in particular, were disturbing.
"Alright class," Mr. Bryant said. "We have a new student, Thomas Storme. Thomas, pick whatever seat you like." I looked down at my desk and sighed, uninterested. I didn't even bother to look at the new student. There were only two seats in the class: one on my right and one by Jessica and Teresa White. I didn't even have to read his mind to know that he would pick the empty seat by Jessica and Teresa. They were the most popular juniors in the school whereas I was only a sophomore with a brain in her head. Everyone knew that Jessica and Teresa where the prettiest girls in school, however, nobody knew it better than I did-their freak of a little sister.
