The way we met:

Prologue:

Sometimes, the first look takes it all to fall in love, well as unpractical as it appears but people still do consider love at first sight as possible.

Sometimes the first meeting is just enough for you to fall for the person,

Sometimes, the first few dates or meetings,

But sometimes, it takes forever to realize that you have already fallen in love with the person in your very first meeting and have been just ignoring all the time.

The same happened between Alisha and Harshad after their very first venture of each other. How long did they take to finally realize their love?

What if it's too late when they finally did?

Chapter-1:

I smiled when I traced my fingers across my new designation as I wore my Id and rushed out of my house as I was already late to catch with my cab. It would be there in the bus top any moment.

I am Alisha Sharma, a corporate recently joined with the organization as a trainee but performed well and fetched a quick promotion and a transfer to the head office located in the central of the city- The New Delhi, my home place and the city that I've fallen in love growing along with it.

"Bye doggy" I waved to the dog coming back from its morning walk while its owner winked at me. I smiled sweetly at the old man as I rushed faster towards the bus top.

"Hey stop" I called running from my lane towards the bus stop as I've seen the cab passing by me. "Stop please..." I yelled behind it running faster, but it was of no use, the cab sped off the bus stop even before I could reach it; yet I didn't give up. I ran behind it despite the weird looks of the people around me, but it was much faster and I finally gave up and stopped running suddenly on the road when I heard a bike being stopped behind me avoiding the mere hit and scaring the hell out of me-

"What the hell!" I heard a bold male voice from behind as I turned around to face whoever it is, I don't care I have to catch the cab, it's my first day and I can't be late for heaven's sake.

"Hey, why do you have to run in the middle of the road, are you crazy?" I ignored the annoyed person throwing tantrums on me and walked past him to reach the back of his bike.

"No, I'm late, chase that blue cab there-" I almost ordered sitting behind him as I threw my one leg across the passenger seat of his bike. "Wh-What? Excuse me?"

"No, It's alright, I don't mind, common, it's getting late" I raised my eyebrow and tilted my head showing the cab ahead while he threw his yet another annoyed look mixed with confusion and hesitation, but I'm not gonno give up.

"Why should I-" before he could ask more questions and eat my precious time, I reached my hand to the front, placed it on his hand that was on the accelerator of the bike and raised it making it pick up the speed suddenly "Common chase it!!" I screamed right in his ear while he finally gave up looking at me with a weird and hesitant expression and rose faster; I murmured a thank god while he sped across the vehicles with good speed to reach it.

Right when I thought we almost reached my cab we were crossed by another bike on the way and he used his break to stop making my body slide against his back and hit his shoulder with my chin with great force.

"Oh shit! Hey don't even try to take advantage of me just because I'm taking your help, you are about to hit me and tried to kill me, and now you are just making up to me, you are not doing any favor okay? just remember that-"

"You mean I've used the break wantedly to touch you?" he exclaimed nothing less than being completely vexed.

"May be, who knows typical men-" I mumbled behind his back as he raised the bike suddenly and with his rash driving, he sped away across the traffic; "I hate you" he said tilting his head behind.

"Good for you.." I screamed against the air and within what seemed like milli seconds he used his break again, and this time it seemed like he did intentionally, because there was nothing coming in way of us.

"What the hell, why did you stop, I asked you to chase my cab right, and that's the way you are gonno make it up to me, if not I'll post a complaint against you that you tried to kill me, and I'll sue you and I'll-"

"Shut up!! What are you? A nut? Seriously you completely seem like a woman who just ran away from a mentally retarded hospital and hit me right in the time for my own unfortunate fate-"

"Excuse me, you listen-"

"No you listen to me, there is your cab," he pointed to his right and within next half split of a second, before he completes his sentence with his 'just shut up and go' kind of words, I almost reached my cab that was stopped to pick up someone.

"Learn to say thanks for those who helped you" he yelled behind me.

"It's your duty, I told you it's not a favor" I told as I got into my cab.
In the next moment he came with his bike beside my cab "Just get lost" he mouthed while I poked my tongue out to him.

I sighed deeply as I glanced to my side at my nerd friend sitting with his neverending tragic series of a novel in his hand and looked up to me with an obvious blank expression as if he already knew everything that happened.

"He was a jerk! Couldn't give at least a ride to a good looking girl like me!" I explained to his look.

"I know" he looked into his book again.

"He thought of even taking advantage of me" I exclaimed again dramatically which both of us knew is definitely over done with my expression. "He would have, definitely"

"so had fun?" he said sarcastically after a brief pause.

"Yeah!!" I finally smiled sighing a deep one. "you know he was such a dumb, he didn't even know that I was using him, I rushed with things so fast that he didn't understand what to do and finally he gave up and gave me ride this far" I laughed harder. "You know all the while I was acting dramatic, I was struggling hard to resist my laugh, god! That was-" I paused to get a word.

"Weird" Raj suggested. "Whatever" I shrugged and opened my bag to patch up with my make up that I left half way while hurrying up from my home, as I again opened my mouth that is hardly closed any time narrating him everything from the past night till morning.

I am looking forward for the day ahead, my first day as an associate, into a team, I just hope I have good people around me.
