The Unexplainable Case (50)

Phil looked around the scene of destruction. The flaming car stood in the middle of the road. Phil watched as agents took the driver out of the flaming car. Phil looked up the mountain and saw a cloud of dust. Phil stared for a moment and motioned for two agents to follow him they nodded and got in the a Crown Victoria undercover cruiser. Phil got in his Mercury Mountaineer and drove off. Phil looked out the driver's side window and saw 6 cars driving down the mountain down into a country road. Phil took the nearest exit. He put his foot to the pedal as the red light shone. Phil swerved left towards the country road. The agents struggled to catch up with Phil. Phil sped down the road racing towards the country road.

"Boss we got a follower." The driver announced. Xavier turned around and saw Phil. He opened the driver's side window and fired his pistol. Xavier picked up his walkie talkie. "All cars all cars split up in the front intersection. Three cars on one road!" Xavier turned to the driver and said "You'd better drive fast. The driver nodded and sped up the intersection.

Phil looked at the review-mirror and spotted the agents following. Without warning the car in front of Phil screeched to a stop. The back of the car in front of Phil smashed the SUV's lights. Phil frowned and fired at the men in the car in front him. The men fired back. The men got off and fired they're pistols. Phil ducked and fired back through the windsheild. The two agents got off and fired as well. The men struggled to dodge the bullets but finally both got shot in the knees. "Get they're ID's I'll look for that man." With that Phil drove off in hot pursuit of Xavier.
