The Unexplainable Case (52)

Phil crouched behind his car as bullets whipped through the car's bonnet. Phil unholstered his weapon. He stared at his weapon. Nothing special a ordinary LAPD issue. A nine millimeter pistol. He took out the magazine in the pistol. He glanced 15 bullets. He took out another mag. 15 bullets. 30 bullets altogether he thought. Just enough. He cocked the gun and put the magazine in. He fired, the attackers dodged. Phil fired twice more. A unlucky machine gunner got shot in the ankle. He lie on the ground groaning in pain. Phil took cover while bullets continued peppering his vehicle. Phil whipped around and fired once more. The bullet struck another man in the head. Phil grinned "This is more like it." He thought in his head. A attacker stepped out and fired his M-16 assault rifle non-stop. He yelled as he fired. Phil flinched "This guy is crazy." He thought he turned around and fired at the man twice. At that instance he heard tires squelaling away. "Oh darn they got away." Phil said out loud.

Doctors and nurses were everywhere once they heard that Marcus Mollen was coming to the hospital. Marcus arrived and doctors immediately put him on a stretcher. They carried him quickly to the Emergency Operating room. Joe walked out in a cast. He glanced at a stretcher. He walked closer and saw. It was Marcus. There were guards swarmed around Marcus. Joe shouted "YOU MURDERER!" He shouted and he started to unholster his pistol. When five guards pinned Joe against the wall. Joe accidently fired to the ceiling. Nurses and doctors screamed."You coward!" Joe yelled "Hiding behind your stupid guards you'd better be prepared for the day you lose your head!" Joe yelled. He tried to charge towards Marcus but guards blocked him and Marcus was already out of Joe's vantage point.
