The Trickster
Playing Russian roulette with the Devil.
I put a bullet in the chamber,
And I spun the barrel around,
It's your turn to pull the trigger,
Will you live to hear the sound?
The ball is in your court now,
Will you play it by the rules?
I watch the sweat drip from your brow
As you struggle to keep your cool.
Are you afraid to walk through fire with me?
Do I break your balls that easily?
Life's for living, feel the rush,
I offer you a chance to win,
Take the gamble, push your luck,
Play with me, the game of sin,
Push the ante to the limit,
Put your soul up on the line,
Find out if you are infinite.
Are you impartial about dying?
Will your arrogance be nearly enough?
Do you have the gall to call my bluff?
Caress the trigger with itchy fingers,
You can even point the gun at me,
Let your nerve, a moment linger,
Close your eyes then gently squeeze,
Smell the cordite in the air,
It's odour brings the game to an end
You lost your gamble fair and square,
Your soul belongs to me, my friend!
Did you really think you could beat the master?
No one ever out tricks the Trickster!
