The Time of the Dinosaurs
Nemeha, an ancient Indian man in North America in the time of the dinosaurs, adventures off into the land of the unknown. This is how it all started.
Nemeha was resting in his home, a few animal hides held up by sticks. Every day he had prayed that Dinosaurs wouldn't attack the village, but sometime prayer just was not enough. Today was one of those days. A dinosaur 100ft tall was outside stepping on people. There was no stopping it. Or was there? Nemeha thought about what his grandfather had told him... "The only way to kill a dinosaur is by plunging your spear into its heart. But the only way to get up it was to climb. And that was easier said then done. But someone had to do it.
He grabbed a spear, and two small blades, for the only way to climb that thing would be to plunge the blades into its wet scales. But there was another problem. It was still 100ft high, 5 times as high as anyone had ever gone, for they lived in the flat lands. But if he ever wanted to be proclaimed a savior in his village, then he would do it For the honor, respect, and the meat.
He started climbing up the foul beast, and he went to its right eye. He plunged one of the blades in it, and took the other Blade. He then stabbed the beasts neck and let it seep in. He jumped off and the spear went down slowly.
After about 45 seconds Nemeha had gotten far enough to reach it's heart. It took all his might to stab it through the thick scales that seemed like they were much thicker than the rest, but he finally made it through. The monster was defeated, but if he did not jump off then he would be crushed by the falling dinosaur. He started going back down and finally reached a height were he could jump down. Once he did, the beast fell on his home. "That's great, just great" Nemeha thought to himself.
Nemeha was then thanked by the high priest who named him the new chief of his tribe, for the old one was one who was stepped on by the "great beast". Nemeha was very excited and happy about him being chief, and the meat from the beat. He skinned it and made the thick scaling that covered it's heart his helmet. All the warriors were to wear the dinosaur skin, as a reminder to show what had happened today, and who had conquered the foul dinosaur.
The priest then asked Nemeha to find his tribe a new home, in the Court of Laticios, farther south. The priest told him that it was similar to here, but it had little dinosaurs there, so it would be a wise place to move. Nemeha agreed and went on his way with his army...
