The Three Secrets to the Law of Attraction
To truly understand the Law of Attraction, you have to line up thoughts, beliefs and actions. This articles gives some insight on how to do this.
You’ve probably heard a lot about The Secret and wondered how to make it work for you. The basics are line up your thoughts, beliefs and actions and you’ve got it! That may be simple, but here’s a description of each.
Beliefs. Beliefs are a hugely important part of the Law of Attraction. It would benefit everyone to take a seriously hard look at what their inner beliefs are. How many times have you thought of something you’d like to have and then immediately thought "but I can’t because"? That little phrase is telling of where your mind is and it’s crucial to get a handle on that doubtful belief. That "but" is indicative of where your belief system really is. Listen to your dialogue, even if it’s just inner-dialogue, and see what beliefs you really are working with. The reality in our lives is that if you believe you can’t do something, then you can’t. If you believe you can do something, then you can. We must train ourselves to think thoughts that bring the beliefs we want. Take a look at where you’re at and purposefully focus on why you CAN do things. Why whatever you want IS possible.
Thoughts. Your thoughts are energy. Your thoughts are what dictate what happens in your life. For example, I have a friend who is a single-parent with a pretty low-paying job. She’s had it for years and has been complaining about it for years. Now she’s a very smart woman with a very smart 8-year old son. But she insists she can’t take college classes to get her Bachelor’s degree due to lack of time and money. I suggested asking her boyfriend, who loves her little son, to watch him while she goes to school at night. "Won’t work - I’m too tired after work." So then I suggested that while her son is visiting his father out-of-state for 2 months during the summer, she take summer classes. "Won’t work - I don’t have the money to pay for school!" So then I suggested taking online courses. Any online school will help her file for financial aid. She said "Won’t work! I don’t want big student loans." I quickly gave up, after seeing how intent she was on thinking nothing would ever work for her. The reality is that until she changes her thought process, no one can help her out of her situation. Her negative situation will only be prolonged as she focuses her thoughts on it.
Actions. This can be the hardest part of The Law of Attraction. People have the thoughts to bring something into their lives, they have the belief that it will happen, now what? The key part is to decide what you are going to "DO" to get the ball rolling. For example, if you want a new job and have been focusing on it and believe you deserve it, get your resume out there. Make it a goal to post your resume to 5 jobs a day that you want. Have a clear-cut image of what salary, commute, benefits and type of job you want. Stay within that outline, but get yourself in the game! Remember that actions are crucial to making the Law of Attraction work for you. Ask yourself, "What am I going to offer up to my desire?"
