I saw the first rain today,
But just couldn't get drenched in it.
It felt a lot like falling in love,
Even though I couldn't express it.

The lovely raindrops
Carefully hid my tears,
Your response, was the biggest
Of my biggest fears.

Your reply was just
A lonely question mark?
Wasn't the meaning of my words
Amply clear and transparently stark?

And now its odd,
The anxiety is unnerving and real.
I wish you knew all along, my love,
