The Subway Owns My Heart - Part 2
Alright it's here! (Comment some more or I won't post part 3!)
Present Day
I grabbed my backpack off the hook, racing out the door. My hands fumbled around for my lip gloss. I started to run faster. People in New York turned their heads, irritated. I was late. Even though it was summer break, I had to meet my friends in the subway. They would be irritated if I were late.
Finally I reached the descending stairs that led underground. I slowed my pace, relieved to find I still had two minutes to spare. The crowd was outrageous, after all it was a Monday morning. I squeezed through the people, weaving in and out.
The bathroom door was in sight, and finally I was there. My hand grasped the dirty knob and I flung the door open. One of my friends saw me and dragged me into one of the stalls. All of my friends sat around in the stall, looking extremely annoyed.
"Where have you been?" One of them said, her name Lily. "You're the one that carries around the pack of cigarettes."
"I still had a couple of minutes," I replied. I reached around to my backpack and drew out a pack of cigarettes. My friends reached out and flicked out lighters. Together, we sat in the stall and smoked, laughed, and talked. We had been doing this since ninth grade, when we first saw my parent's cigarettes lying around. None of us were allowed to smoke, so we had always gone in the subway bathroom stall.
This particular day we felt a bit tired. Lily had brought a small flask of some kind of alcohol or another. It had made us sleepy, and soon we were lying on top of each other, sleeping.
There must not be any people that come in and clean the subway bathroom, because no one had seen us. Ever. So when I woke up, it was three in the morning. I rubbed my eyes, and saw my friends were still wiped out.
Silently, I slipped out of the bathroom. The subway was completely empty, even though they never close in New York. Not one person was there. But who would need to use a subway at three in the morning anyway?

Sorry I have to end it at that but I'm very busy. It was kind of boring because she hasn't met the ghost yet, and she will fall in love with the ghost. (: Stay tuned!
