The Story of an Angel's Tear

An angel sits by a pool of life hoping hers will end. She is Daria, and she used to be a member of the angelic court. But, her opinions got her cast down out of heaven and stripped of her wings so that she cannot return. She felt as if her life was over. But in her sobbing she came to see an ant, and she thought to herself an ant by itself has no real power but with help it can overcome most obstacles and so with her staff and the help of three ancient beasts the tiger, the crane, and the turtle. She made her way to the mountain from which heaven sat atop.

The tiger gave her strength, and carried her when she had no more. The crane taught her how to control her spirit, and her tongue. Finally was the turtle who taught her all that he knew for he is the wisest of all of earth's beasts. Their journey lasted many days and during that time Daria grew stronger, more spirited, and wiser than the other angels. Upon reaching the summit she said farewell to her friends and summoning great strength, spirit, and mind she conjured herself a knew pair of wings and flew up into the heavens. When she told the court of angels what happened they all agreed that she was now strong enough, spirited enough, and wise enough to sit among the finest of the court and there is where she stayed.
