The Start of a Real Lifetime - Chapter 4

When Mia's mom can't put up with her anymore, and Mia can't control her temper, what will Mia's mom do? Please read and comment.
I let out a sigh. "Mom why does this have to happen?"
"Well your dad had a very bad temper, because his father and his father and his father did too." Mom said.
"I hate him!" I replied in a mumble.
"Don't hate your father, it's not his fault, and May, you need to be more respectful to me and your dad." Mom said.

"No mom, no, I don't need to be more respectful, it's a want, you want me to be more respectful, but because of my dad, I will NOT be respectful, to you or dad." I shouted back at her.
"Get out!" My mom yelled at me furiously.
"Fine. I will."

I walk up to my room gather my clothes my stuffed animal from when I was five, and my money. I ran down the steps and ran out the door mom opened for me, and slammed it hard back towards her. I walked down the road a bit and called Mia to come pick me up. Mia said that she thought my mom was right and maybe she is but now I'm not getting a ride from Mia.

I called almost everyone I knew and it was a NO from everyone. I needed a ride so the only person I could call, was Troy.
"Pick up, pick up." I say to myself and my phone.
"Hello?" Troy answers.
"Um Troy? It's me, May, um my mom just kicked me out of the house and I called everyone I knew and -" I start to say when Troy cuts me off.
"What about Mia? I'm sure she'll give you a ride to wherever you're going." Troy asks.

"Well if you let me finish, I would've said that Mia said that my mom is right so she won't give me a ride anywhere." I finish.
"Well, I would, but, I'm busy, sorry." Troy says. I hang up the phone.
Now what am I supposed to do? I'm stuck out here in the cold almost all alone. And what I mean by almost is cars and people in the cars.

"Ahh." I squeal, a car just drove by and splashed mud all over me. I'm pretty sure I'm brown. I'll have to walk where I want to go but where? I have to find somewhere to go. Oh I know, I'll go down the road to the gas station and ask for a small map of hotels around the place, I usually don't pay attention, so now here's what bad things, happen when you don't watch your mom drive.

It's so stupid, now I don't have any trust in Mia or Troy. Wait, I just remembered one person that I haven't called, Elijah. He is always over me, he would probably give me a ride, I hope.

"Elijah?" I started, "Um, well, my mom just kicked me out of my house and I need a ride to a hotel, could you drive me?" I asked in a stutter.

"Yeah sure, um where are you?" He asked.
"I'm walking down Birch Lane, The street you call a creepy ally." I finished.

In a minuet Elijah was driving up carefully trying not to splash me with mud. I got in the car and we drove down to the hotel silently. I got out of the car, "Thanks." I say to Elijah. He smiles at me and I walk down to the hotel door. I look through my suitcase and try to find my money. I reach inside my wallet and grab $200.00 dollars. I walk to the office and ask for a room.

"We have two rooms left, how long are you staying?" The man asks.
"Well my mom kicked me out of the house and I don't know how long I will stay, but probably about a week." I answer.
"Every day you stay, you have to pay $100.00, so if you don't know how long just pay once a day." The man says.
"Alright, here you go this is $100.00." I say handing him the money.

The man walks away so I walk to the hotel's front door. He gave me a card that says my number and gives me my key so I can get in. I open the doors and walk up the stairs, down two long red carpeted hallways and look for my room. When I finally find it I slowly open the big wooden double-door with fake-gold edges. I walk in and I see a huge double mattress, with pink silk sheets, I wish they were black but I kept walking in and I see a mini refrigerator and so many other things I just can't describe. How could it get any better.
