The Spring Break Story

One girl, one boy, one spring break. I'm entering the first part vote if you want me to keep writing.
Chapter One

When I heard the news I almost passed out. "Were going skiing with the Gonzalez’s ." she said it as if the fact that Ava had an older brother didn’t matter. Her brother was in seventh grade, the same as me. Although I had only met him for 5 minutes and he didn’t say a word to me I knew deep down inside that he would come to like me even if he didn’t realize it. I had been dreading this trip for a long while you see. For the last 5 years I had been skiing with my family in various places. It had gotten to the point where I said i really didn’t want to go. Of course this hacked my parent off. But hey who cares I was going to get fed up sooner or later.

TWO WEEKS LATER
"Were here!" my mom exclaimed. After 3 hours on a stuffy plane I was ready to move even if it meant seeing him. By him I mean Riley. Riley as in Ava’s older brother who is my age Riley. This may seem like I’m making a big deal over nothing, but that is so not true. Spending 2 weeks with a boy my age isn’t exactly my idea of a vacation but to my parents it is. You see at my school if you wear a shirt that goes below your boob line your shirt will be looked down, no joke. So naturally this is what I was expecting. Later that day we arrived at the condo, and to my surprise the Gonzalez’s were already there. "Hey Ava where are you?" as soon as Maddy said this we were pelted by an array of snow balls. "Ahhhhhh!!!" I screamed as I ran for cover. Un-luckily for me I ran straight into a patch of ice. When I was expecting to hit the ground instead I felt a protective arm wrap around my waist and easily lift me up. "Whoa there we don’t need any injuries quite yet" said a voice that today I can still not get out of my head. As I gazed into this strangers face I realized, "Oh you must be Riley." I said as calmly as I could. "And I take it by your clumsiness that you are Elisabeth" he replied laughing. "Hey my clumsiness is not a laughing matter; I have broken many bones on that accord!" I replied ashamed, and yet relived that he wasn’t going to make this a laughing matter. "Lisabeth quit being lazy and come help unpack, you too Riley!" Ava yelled. "Coming!" we both yelled laughing.
AFTER THE PACKING IS DONE: BEFORE DINNER

I was sitting in my new room reflecting on the day so far when there was a knock on my door. Come in I yelled expecting my mom or dad, but instead I got a very suspicious looking Ava. Dinners in 10 were having chili she said poking her head in. I know you better than that Ava what is it I asked grinning? Oh all right she sighed, what do you think of my brother I saw you to earlier! She exclaimed. Well I paused he seems decent and funny I guess we could get along, why do you ask. Ok promise you won’t tell anyone but I heard him talking on the phone earlier and he said you were cute and funny! She giggled. "Been listening in on my phone calls have you sister dear?" I heard a deep voice question. "Riley!" she squealed, what are you doing here?" she yelled clearly embarrassed. "Well my room IS across the hall, I heard a lot of giggling, and wanted to make sure no one was dying. " Sure but don’t deny you didn’t say that!" Ava said. "Oh trust me I’m not denying anything." He replied coolly winking at me and leaving the room. "Oh my fricken god I think your brother just hit on me!" I said astonished. "I don’t believe it my brother putting the moves on YOU one of my best friends!" she said stunned. "Girls dinner!" Mrs. Gonzalez yelled, and we raced out of my room to chow down.
