When looking for places to visit you should definitely check out the South Carolina Aquarium in Charleston. It is a beautiful place to visit and is right on the water. This means you can walk out to the observation deck and watch the boats go by, not to mention this is a perfect place for a photo op with the family! Once you go inside you will be greeted by a large aquarium that is two stories tall and has beautiful fish swimming all around. This is mesmerizing to look at and it is also a great place to take photos. There are many other exhibits as well that include sharks, snakes, fish, birds, frogs, and the like, which are very informative and educational. The aquarium does cost about $18 per person to enter, but it is worthwhile once you see everything that is inside.

There are other great things to do in Charleston as well. This is perhaps one of the greatest cities in the south and you will find a lot of charm in this area that is so reminiscent of the past. There are cobblestone streets downtown and you can take a horse and buggy ride. There are some exceptional seafood restaurants to dine at and you must try the She Crab soup, which is a specialty here. You will also need to walk along the Battery and see what’s for sale at the Public Market. This is such an enchanting place to visit and there is so much to do and see that it is hard to accomplish everything in one visit. But, with some good planning and a lot of energy you can see the highlights in a long weekend. Enjoy your visit in Charleston.
