The Smile
We as humans wear a mask to hide from the world that we know. Our masks give us freedom and grace but yet it can become our tomb.
The man stands alone; falls deep. Hides behind the image he keeps; thinks upon the people he strays, to find the endless smile, it must stay; he fears what the world seeks. Bringing the smile that gives them the creeps.
Let the world have a scare, from the torn smile that doesn't care. Counting all his fears and sighs no, let them see otherwise; I am the smile!
He smiles but still cries, from his faith that turn to lies. The people shout his name, laughing at life that is called the game. The bleeding feet from a long mile, the man smile will crack in a vile. I am the smile!
