Hey, here's the reason for Jamie's world collapsing.
Chapter - 2
"Hey Anne." I said. "Jamie, Alex called me some time before. He said that he has decided to move in with his dad." Said Anne.
"What?" I asked. "Alex wouldn't do that. Why would he move to NY all of a sudden?" "That's what I asked him too, honey but he didn't say anything. I tried to take him out of it but he wouldn't listen. I was hoping that you could convince him to not move." Said Alex's mom.
"Okay, Anne. I'll call him. Bye." I said and hung up the phone. I hoped to god that Alex wasn't serious about this and was just kidding around, but something told me that wasn't the case.
I reached home and went into my room. I love my room. My room is huge and the walls are of my favorite color blue and had a huge balcony that overlooked my backyard. I set my guitar down and pulled out my cell to call Alex. With a sigh I dialed his number. He picked it on the fifth ring which was late for him. "Hey, J." Alex said. I decided to get to the point and said, "Alex, your mom called me. She said that you were thinking of moving to NY. Is that true?" He sighed and said, "Yeah." I couldn't believe it. My boyfriend has decided to move all by himself without any need and compulsion and he didn't even talk to me about it.

Hey thank you all for your comments. I had gone out of station for a few days and there was no Internet. On Saturday night I came back and I was reading all your comments at midnight LOL. Many of you had suggested a title related to music. But sorry this story is not related to music much. I was thinking about the title as The Separation. What do you think?
