**Cole's POV**
I sat on the couch waiting for Celeste to come out of Afton's bedroom. I played every precious moment with Celeste. I felt for tears streak my cheek. The feeling i felt inside was like none other. Knowing my one true love is in that bed with him... it felt like my heart was melting, and not in a good way. I felt.....useless.
It was then I heard the soft sound of her delicate feet on the floor. I saw her beautiful face come around the corner. Her hair was in a messy ponytail with her bangs drooping over one eye. She looked amazing.
"Hello gorgeous" I whispered. She jumped at the sound of my voice and her eyes grew wide when she saw me. "Oh, please don't be scared. I know I kissed you but.. I'm sorry it just came, like I was going to die if I didn't do it!"
A smile formed on her lips. "I wanted you to Cole but, if you would have just let it come instead of taking it so fiercely.."
"I know. It was stupid, if so sorry-" My voice broke at the end and new tears formed. Oh god, i didn't want her to see me cry! But then she ran over to me and put her arms around me, hugging me tightly.
"Oh, Cole have you been crying!" she exclaimed.
"You're still going to hug me even what I did?" I whispered in her ear.
"Cole you have been my best friend since middle school. I met Afton earlier this month! You're feeling still matter and I'm not going to hate you for a kiss!" She said strongly. Those words made me so happy I wrapped my arms around her giving her a bear hug. I missed her those days I was "dead." I cried every night wanting her back. If I would have stayed I could be in Afton's place! I took her face in my hands and looked in her eyes.
"Tell me you don't love me. Look in my eyes and say-.... Your eyes.. they're.." I knew from reading the scroll that once she becomes princess her eyes will turn two different colors, each eye will be a color of a person she loves. I recognized Afton's icy blue eye color as her left but her right one was..chocolaty brown Just. Like. MIne. "You love me. Don't you..." I whispered still jumping on the inside with happiness. Her eyes began to fill with tears.
"Yes" she whispered. And with that she brought her lips to mine. She tasted so sweet! She wrapped her arms around my neck and I put my hands on the back of her throat, gently massaging it. I stroked her lips with my tongue for permission to enter and she cracked her soft lips open a little. I stuck my tongue in eagerly. She moaned a little and tightened her grip on me. Sparks were flying. I could feel them on my lips and in my whole body. I held to her as if she was my life line. I could feel her heart pick up speed. I pulled back. I pressed my lips back to hers once, and then once more. I slowly opened my eyes and saw her looking at me adoringly. Then something pasted over her eyes. Realization.
"What's wrong?" I whispered, still holding on to her.
"I'm Afton's girlfriend. We shouldn't be dong thi-"
"DID THE KISS MEAN NOTHING TO YOU! You didn't feel the urgency? The passion? I bet that is the most passionate thing you've felt!" I screamed, angered by Afton's sudden appearance in the conversation.
"COLE! Afton just took my purity." She whispered, looking down and stepping away from our sweet embrace. My first thought was for her safety.
"Was it safe..."
"Yes. Safe as possible" she murmured. After that was covered my world began to crash. If Afton was her first, I want to be her second.
"Cole I'm sorry, I love you to. I've known you longer and everything but... I need to think about everything. I have to great options..."
"I AM NOT AN OPTION! I am a living, breathing, FEELING person!"
"I'M SORRY! OK! Just let me think, I'll be back soon. Tell Afton I'll be back soon." And with that she released my hand and ran out the door.
