Chapter 1 - Where Are You, My Love?
"Edwin, You should know better we're not meant for each other, shouldn't you? I'm sorry. I bowed down and walked away.
"Amelia! Where did you went? I Rebecca ran towards me, gasping for air.
"Ermm... To the back garden? What happened to you? I stared at her. My curiosity can kill me anytime now.
"You.. You know... I Still gasping for air.

"Do you know Zach?! I
"Huh? Zach? I asked. Suddenly, flashbacks emerged in my mind.

"Amelia.. I He took out one of his earrings. I Please, wear this. And I'll definitely come back to get you. When we grow up, you'll be my bride and we'll get marry. I promised! I He smiled.
"Zach... I Tears streamed down my cheek. I'll wait for you! Definitely! I gave him a tight hug.

My childhood's love ended there. It has been 9 years already. I didn't take out the earring he gave since 9 years. That earrings was his mother's last present and it was very precious to him, he told me once. The earrings were a blue diamond. His father was a millionaire and he had to migrate to New York because of his father's will. I wondered how's he doing now. I missed him so much. I've always dreamt about him. I wanted to forget him but it seems like the memories doesn't allow me to.
"The super top model in Asia!! I Rebecca shouted.
"Uh huh? I rolled my eyes.
"He's coming to our school! He's transferring to our school!! I
"What? You mean Zach is transferring to our school? I widened my eyes.
"Yes! I She exclaimed. I'm gonna tell everyone now! You too! Help everyone spread the news. I She ran away.
"Oh... Ok.. I stunned.
"Ame?? I Emma snapped her fingers.
"Huh? What? I dropped my books.
"You ok?? I
"Oh! I'm good. I said, picking up my books.
"You looked rather pale.. Are you ok? I Emma asked anxiously.
"Emma... I pulled her to aside so that nobody can hear our conversation.
"Remember I told you about my childhood lover? I
"Uh huh? I
"Actually, his name is Zach. You spelled it as Z-A-C-H. I
"Oh gosh! You mean the super top model in the whole Asia, Zach?! I She exclaimed.
"I'm not sure, either. I
"I heard from Rebecca he's transferring to our school, isn't it? I Emma asked.
"Ya, Rebecca told me too! I
"Oh my God! That's mean he's coming back to get you! I
"Things weren't so easy like you imagined. I
"What.. What do you mean? I Emma stunned.
"Somehow, something is telling me things weren't be so easy. I feel it. Deep down in my heart, I feel it. I My hands were shivering.
"Ame! You're just too worried. Don't scare yourself like that. I
"Well, it might be then. I said.
"Let's go back to class. We're gonna be late. I Emma held on my shoulder.

"Class, our lessons end here. Thank you! I Teacher walked out the class.
"Amelia! Emma! Wanna join us tomorrow? I Rebecca asked.
"Huh? Tomorrow? I asked curiously.
"Yea! You don't know? Tomorrow, Zach's coming. So, we're planning to throw him a party. I
"Party? I Emma asked.
"Ya, you gotta problem with that? I
"Well, do you think you have the chance to throw him a party? Since he's the most popular model in Asia. I
"Oh, shut up, Emma! You're annoying! I
"Whatever! I Emma rolled her eyes.
"Fine! I'm being kind here! Since you guys don't even appreciate it, forget it! I Rebecca walked away angrily.
"Wow! She's real pissed, Emma! I giggled.
"Well, trust me! Zach's probably gonna ignore her because she's the one who's annoying here. I Emma poked her tongue out.
"Hmm.... i hesitated. I Maybe? I laughed.
"Ame, you might have to go back tomorrow. I'm going out with my boyfriend now so sorry ok? I She said, ending the phone call.
"Oh ok. Have fun alright! I smiled.
"You... I
"Emma, don't worry. I'm gonna be fine. I promise. I smiled.
"Ok, great! Then I'm much.... better? I She laughed.
"Go on already! I laughed.

"Oh! You're home, sweetheart! I Mum ran towards me.
Mum was remarried since I was 10. My dad left without hesitation. He probably enjoys his life now. He took all our money, mum's jewelry, EVERYTHING. There's nothing left for both of us. He just took everything away from us and ran away one night. Mum was indeed depressed. But I was glad that mum met someone after that. Michael treated mum really good. He's kind to me too. I'm just so thankful that he accepted us. Or else, mum might be still heart-broken and suffering now.
"Michelle? Ame? I've got something to declare. I Michael said unhappily.
"Michael? What happened? I Michelle, my mum asked.
"Sit down, you both. I Michael demanded.
"What do you want to say, Michael? I've started to called him Michael since the day he married mum. Well, I'm not used to dad and I believed he understand.
"My company is gonna...... I He stopped and sighed.
"Gonna what?! I Mum asked anxiously.
"Bankrupt. I've lost amounts of money. I He took a deep breath.
"Is there any way to save your company, Michael? I
"Indeed, yes. I He stared at me.
"How? I smiled as I was relieved.
"You, Ame. You're the only one who can save my company now, Ame. I
"Huh? I stared at him miserably. What do you mean by that?? I stood up and the smile on my face faded away.
