The Secret Formula for Getting Bigger Yields from Your Hydroponics Gardening
Wondering if you can get bigger flowers and bigger yields from your indoor gardening? Humic acid is the answer. Humic acid is an all-organic formula based on one of the richest sources of plant nutrients ever made by Mother Nature.
It’s a rich, organic substance that helps you increase your yield and payoff called humic acid, made from a rich vein of totally-organic material called "leonardite."
According to hydroponics expert Erik Biksa, there are companies that make a humic acid formula from the most premium vein of leonardite on earth called H-1.
This is important because many hydroponics nutrients companies use inferior leonardite or other materials that contain impurities and don’t contain the full spectrum of humic acids that can benefit your plants.
In fact, your plants get way more of the benefits of leonardite when you use H-2 humic acid formula. That’s because this H-1 version uses the best leonardite and a special manufacturing process that gives far more purity than any other product on the market.
What does humic acid do for your plants? Biksa notes that humic acids create very favorable root zone conditions that pump nutrients and water into your plants in a more efficient manner than otherwise. This means faster growth and more efficient use of hydroponics nutrients.
Another benefit from humic acid is it helps plants resist stress and drought. It strengthens roots, and also strengthens internal cell walls so they handle the intensity of your indoor gardening environment.
Humic acids are known to purge toxins from soil and hydroponics media. This is especially important because heavy metals, excess fertilizer salts and other pollutants often concentrate in the root zone of your hydroponics garden, and can also concentrate inside plant tissues. This affects the quality and value of your crops.
Humic acid can be used as a root zone flusher and plant protectant. So along with its ability to amp up the nutrient intake of plants for faster growth and bigger yields, humic acid makes crops cleaner and safer.
Biksa recommends you use humic acid once a week during vegetative phase. It can also be used to soak rockwool slabs and cubes before you place plants in them. This helps rockwool buffer at the correct pH. Without treatment, new rockwool often goes wildly out of pH balance, which means your plants have a hard time taking in nutrients.
During flowering cycle, and especially during peak flowering, use humic acid at least twice a week. It will help your plants resist stress and diseases, while also creating bigger yields.
